When Jack's post said that after 14 years, he wanted time to do things he wants to do.. Even if there was an offer on the table with someone, that doesn't mean he has to take it. There comes a point where one's mental health becomes the priority. He even mentioned that he had previously considered retirement.. Not everyone wants to race to the point that they are lucky to qualify.. Burnout is a real thing, even amongst some of the best in the biz...

12/29/2025 12:52pm I dont really watch much of the YouTube stuff anymore , used to watch BKXC stuff and Mctrail rider and the odd video of some of the others but it feels like from a sponsorship perspective there are a lot less YouTube riders with bike brand deals now .

12/22/2025 11:21am I could see him on nukeproof still but they can't announce it until the new year because of contracts. Doing it that way gets them on the websites twice as well for exposure. Total guess though. He's ridden for MS before so possibly a return there 🤔 I hope he gets a decent ride , seems like a good person...

He definitely ticks the box in terms of bringing more to a brand than just race results. Just thinking as well if possibly being based in Australia has anything...

Due to time differences I watch the races on replay and skip straight to the actual racing .From a purely viewer perspective I think the smaller field works . I obviously understand why riders would want more through to finals and I've heard people suggest you could have 40 in finals...

10/17/2025 12:53am Obviously if your budget only stretches to 2 elite males then that's all you can have but Mondraker look to have invested pretty heavily in the race program to run the risk of injuries puting a kaibosh on the whole thing . Last year they had Ronan injured after hard-line , Dak missing races and Greg Williamson not really fit...

I'd posted before that from the riders who we think are available I'm not sure who would be an upgrade on Dak , possibly Dylan Maples in the sense that he's younger but I don't know how long-term teams are thinking about these things . 10/11/2025 10:44pm To play devil's advocate Dunne is s 2 time world cup winner and a fair bit younger than Dak so I think if the team has a hierarchy Ronan has a fairly good claim on the no.1 spot . Having said that if Dak can have a good off season and get stronger then he's definitely a potential race winner...
