As someone who is not in the industry , I am in no way envious of whoever has to make the decision on what the next bike is going to be for any of these brands.
Can confirm Megatower will not be updated, likely will stick around till they have no more units.
The general thesis at SC is the ebikes will be 4 bar and the pedal bikes will stick to VPP (at least until PON decides they have to go open mold on all their frames).
Yeti ST is being released this year as an updated 120 to the new suspension platform.
Having no interest in pushbikes these days, I care very little about most on that list. However specialized have to release a new levo & it better...

Chasing Avinox in power number wars, meaning the huge battery is required and range suffers. The Levo 3 was very common around where I live (and also developed a terrible reputation due to reliability), and I've seen almost none of the 4s. This despite Specialized leaning hard on the local shops to try and get them to sell more of the 4s, but people just aren't interested. People around here are either buying whatever Avinox bike they can get their hands on, or anything Bosch (especially the Bullit).

I am going to come out and say this, Linear is good. Depending on the size you ride the geo is pretty good as well. Some people will like the modular-ness?? of the bike. I started on the std levo went to the cc link and now on the evo link. The evo link is def the best for me. I sold the cc-link it felt like it used the travel too easily and was hitting false bottom because of how progressive it was. Also it made running a lot of compression for support feel worse. Just my 2¢. The motor and user interface works well. I feel like riding it on trail the power delivery is very natural and better than the bosch I have ridden but it been a year since I've ridden one. The power wars are dumb I agreed but I still like the big battery for long rides. The fat downtube is less attractive but if the bike is riding well and I can do the rides I want then I really dont care.

The Mega going away doesn’t surprise me. Having owned one its a pretty race focused bike compared to the Nomad and even then the only thing it does better than the Nomad is go fast in a straight line. I’ve also been listening through old The Roller Door podcasts and apparently there are kinematics limitations with the 29” rear wheel and VPP due to clearances. They also made it sounds like everyone much prefers the Nomad and that lines up with my personal experience.
So Specialized took that status off the website? Just a frameset available now. Is that because it's due for replacement, or are they dropping it altogether? I thought it was an amazing value bike. Recommended it to people over and over. My LBSs agreed, but said it sold less than they thought it would, most people went higher end.

The V1 druid dropped in 2019, V2 in 2023, v3 in 2027 tracks. I would love to try a v3 druid. I owned a V2 and it was such a great bike, shock tunnel and all.
Transition is kind of due for a big shake up in design, I think. They really led the charge on what became todays geometry adopted by most brands, and they started EARLY. But not a whole lot has changed with their suspension platform. Tweaks here and there, progression, flip chips, etc. Could see the smuggler getting the boot if the Spur gets a bump in travel or at least the option to do so via shock stroke, Spire and Patrol form up like Voltron, and Sentinel doing Sentinel things.
Norco has a bit of a pickle with the Fluid and Optic, curious to see how that plays out since Optic is ditching HP after diving head first into the trend. Blend the 2 and you could get a real sweet bike.
Megatower and 5010 lines being ended is over a year old. When I got my Bronson last fall, my dealer was asking his SC rep about what was coming, and he was told that then.

Progressive suspension makes a bike better if you're putting lots of energy into the suspension, and worse if you're not. It's definitely a personal preference thing rather than a good or bad thing.

Yeti (finally) release their DH Bike(?) and update the 120 to the ST(?)
Norco release an avinox based 160f/150r travel E-Bike
The rumors around Transition and Specialized are interesting, can't wait to see what comes from those two
