The Sea Otter Dual Slalom course was a sculpted classic. I think one of the last real DS courses in North America, and regular Joes could sign up and be a part of the course the pros are hitting. Huge Gs going through those deep burms. It was a great mountain bike community connection to gravity racing for both racing and spectating. This is a loss. Why does Lifetime always strip all the fun out of racing?

Damn. I don't know what it is about those Hope bikes but they always look so sick. Even the previous gen short travel bike (HB 130) with the swoopy top tube...I just think their stuff seems awesome. Plus, I'm always down to support a brand that supports Joe Barnes!

“Radial tires” “The plies are placed at a 65 degree angle” Both of those cannot be true. And, is this 65 degrees from horizontal or vertical?

That's mind boggling. I was excited to read about it this morning and when I arrived at Sea Otter today I was genuinely confused when I tried the brake and it went all the way to the grip. I then tried every bike they had on display sharing booth with Ohlins, and every bike had the same issue. I mean, what?!

The Shredline Eden. Full details coming next week. I'll try to answer questions each evening as I'm at the show and have zero service there. If you are at the show stop by EXT, Spank or Gates to see one or find us walking around. This variant is set up at 164mm rear (170 front) using a 230x60 stroke. The Eden can be set up in six different travel modes, two wheel sizes and high/low settings.

At this weight point, if you want a linear spring, just buy older fork and add smashpot... The funniest thing is that they put all those buttercups and now an ABO which takes lots of space in the lovers and added a small bulge to increase the leg volume, in my books they added just enough volume they lost with ABO and buttercups, so what can be the result really?

As a matter of fact I'm on a new 2026 170mm Zeb Select+ (which is an Ultimate minus Butterwagon and Buttercups), so I should be able to answer your questions soon. Hopefully before MY30 @Jason_Schroeder

Really interesting to see the travel overlap between the Lyrik and Zeb at 150, 160, and 170mm. I'm curious to see some back to back comparison at the same travel options (if that's planned).

I mix suspension brands; (currently on a Lyrik w/ MRP damper and a Cane Creek shock w/ an Ohlins spring) because I'm chasing a particular feel. (Not tire brands though, what kind of monster does that?)

thx @BGoldstone and @jeff.brines for the intel on what margins may look like. while i didn't really think they'd be 10x, at $450 for a jacket, i just assume they'd still be pretty darn high.
