8/13/2026 8:56am Just met Slavid666 and seen this bike in person at the bike park. The pictures do not show how good the blue color pops in the sun.🤘

7/29/2026 11:08pm I just got back from a week long trip to whistler where due to some family issues (sick pet) and friends cancelling last minute, I was mostly riding alone. I had a buddy join me for a few hours on 2 days, but other than that, I was left alone with my mediocre riding skills and my thoughts. With this much time alone, you tend to develop an inner monologue of Hot Takes... and since I had no one to share these with, I am coming here to plop them down. I also don't use social media because of a...

7/20/2026 5:05pm This seems like a terrible idea. It's not even safe to wash many dishes, pots, pans, and knives in a dishwasher. If anodized aluminum frying pans get pitted in a dishwasher, I'll pass on putting my helmet in there. Also a single dishwasher cycle uses anywhere between 3-5 gallons of water per cycle, or even as much as 10 gallons for an old model (although I suspect Mads isn't using a dishwasher from 1995). But even if it's three gallons, that's an insane amount of water to wash a bike helmet.

7/20/2026 5:04pm Yeah I wouldn't recommend that at all. Great way to ruin it. It's bad for it to be subjected to those chemicals and that heat for that period of time. Dishwashers are harsh AF. I take mine into the shower, put it on when I have shampoo in my hair, move it around a bit, get some shampoo into the straps, then rinse it all out immediately. Sounds stupid but shampoo seems to do a better job with odors than anything else, and it's the fastest/easiest way of washing it that I've found.

7/20/2026 4:51pm I just remove the liner pads and use spray bottle Shout or dish soap/water mix on them and the helmet chin straps, garden hose every thing off, wring the pads out, then place the helmet with loose liners on top of the home AC condenser on the side of the house. It's summer here now so the AC unit runs...

5/29/2026 7:27am The burning question I have is, was Rick able to feel the Brembo brakes lever pull? He's right there, just a little squeezy squeezy when no one is looking.🤫

So when the braking bumps spread out for 32" do they become moto whoops for smaller wheeled bikes?

5/8/2026 1:24pm The only 32" Dissector model that Maxxis offers to the public right now is an Exo+ Maxxterra tire. It's the same tire Matt Beer was riding at Cypress when he did the back to back 32"/29" test for the other site. If that's the tire Neko's riding at Rock Creek, I'm actually more impressed with his ability to nurse an EXO+ casing through Mountain Creek than I'm worried about slightly "the wrong" tread or compound. I'm certain a 32" front tire takes a lot less beating than a 27.5" rear tire, but still, not exactly the ideal tire setup. If...
