Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

Season ending rankings. Atherton is sitting 21st and would move to 20th with YT going away. Couldn’t grab the point totals but Norco is 2 points back of Commencal for 11th which could become 10th and a 2 year spot.

Thanks for the question. Long story short if the rim is unsafe to ride, it's immediately retired and the hub is re-laced to a new rim. I also have to consider the massive loss of time if I send my rider up on a rim I'm not 100% confident in. Not only do we lose a practice run, but it takes me 40-50 min for one wheel build(including taping and insert/tire mounting). I could easily be halfway through a fresh wheel build in the time it takes my rider to do one practice run so if I have any doubt...

4 riders...I stopped counting at 13. LMS only did 5 all week, but I've got some secret sauce to keep air in the wombat's tires😉. Point being that it's the nature of the track.

@matvaillancourt1 posted this photo in 2025 team rumors thread. "spotted in MSA" - is it real? with teams having to be selected in the next month, stands to reason they'd get photoshoots done in MSA before everyone goes home.

Just heard Finn saying that most people are on the same line for the lower part of the woods and the bike park sections. The first section where I am just below the start gate is cutting up the most and has the most puzzling about lines.

There should be quite a few here that know of Ridemonkey. It has historically been a treasure trove of tech information and racing discussions. Folks such as Dave Weagel, Vorsprung Steve, and many other industry leaders got their start in those forums. Didn't @sspomer used to work there?
