Gwinner not on Fox (head) like everyone else on Frameworks, but Renen for gear?

They must be giving him some CA$H!

ya this is a weird one, would have been cool to see Gwin in Fox gear, two true icons. The Renen stuff in the press release photos looks pretty cheap too IMHO, but that's just my opinion.

Either way insane to see Gwin on Frameworks. We've got some serious American talent on an American brand. ::eagles

I believe Renen was founded by none other than Pete Fox… so maybe a little Fox Head DNA there

He also mentioned he didn't want to give up Frida's deal for 2026 either. So my thought is maybe between recording the podcast and taking the pic, he reached out to a few nearby friends to see who might have a frame laying around and it's actually one of Gwin's old frames?

Yea, I think this is fairly likely. He doesn't want to spoil Frida's team situation, so borrowed a frame from AG for this Insta story.

Really need to get Duracell on board as a sponsor.

There’s a pattern to what Gwin has done after he left the last big team he rode for and it’s not been any good let’s hope he doesn’t ruin Frameworks just as things are going so well.

If I remember Gwin seems to change clothing sponsors more than bike frames and tires. He’s been on royal, Jett, Troy Lee, alpinestars, Thor, nf, Renen.

Also, the fact that AG and Dak have both secured three year contracts is huge for US downhill !

The press release states that the team is called Frameworks / TRP. I'm guessing TRP is a new title sponsor with 5DEV leaving? Not sure how big a deal that is, but a note nonetheless. I also came across some old picture of Asa wearing Renen kits. I agree with comments above that the Fox stuff looks much better, but also found it interesting that Asa was an old Renen athlete.

gwin to frameworks wasn't super surprising to me, as he's talked about wanting to race more this year and neko seemed to have the team support thing dialed and aaron probably appreciates that organizational aspect being covered for him.

i'm more curious to see how windrock and its expansion, and how ag's ongoing presence there and dak and others living nearby, factor into the future of is dh racing and possibly world cups...while i love rock creek and other nearby dh areas, they don't have the drop/capacity/terrain to handle world cups, whereas windrock potentially could....

Sweet!

Between this and the recent YT drama Inside Line podcast has been hitting the mark. Vital giving the people what they want!

5DEV is now an associate sponsor

where is @Queenstown.NPC  now lol

I think he was throwing shade at people about Dak going to frameworks. He's probably rocking in the fetal position about this Gwin News.

Strange thing I just noticed..What's up with Gwin and Oakley? Fox takes care of FW..But Oakley is not listed as one of AG's personal sponsors. Just found that a bit weird..

Oakley seems to be dropping athletes  this week. Vaea V and Henri Keifer have both posted they aren’t with Oakley anymore.

Ryan Griffith looks like he's on a Chromag Monk in his story.

Interesting.

Ryan Griffith tagging Pivot but not listing PFR in his bio. I wonder if he’s staying on a Pivot team but not racing for BK.

Might also just be seeing out some obligations.

On AG with Oakely. No logos on the kit or his name on websites. I'm guessing it's a flow-deal. Probably the same with 5.10. I wondered this a few years back, noticing no Smith or Giro kit. Guessing flow-deals are gonna become a lot more common than they already are moving forward.

Kudos to the one guy who made a legitimate Gwin on Frameworks comment a while back. Not just an annual "Gwin/Dak to Yeti/Frameworks" comment. I was definitely in denial on that one.

Can he post misleading low res screenshots of the transcript, so I get hyped for a few hours about false leads?

Goodman Santa Cruz is becoming Santa Cruz Burgtec for 2026!

And as previously announced they received the "old" Syndicate truck and pit setup.

Oakley and Luxottica could not care less about gravity MTB. They will throw some cash and marketing at the XC athletes going to the LA Olympics, which is probably why they are cutting budgets now. But in general, they have not updated an MTB goggle in years and could really care less about MTB.

Best thing for riders and fans to do is not buy Oakley. Although sadly their lenses are great for trail riding.

Credit to Burgtec. They have this team as co-title sponsors, and also sponsor Trek Factory, Commencal Muc-Off, Syndicate, Yeti Factory and they just picked up Frameworks. Some serious talent there. No idea where the budget comes from hahahahah

This is why I bought a Burgtec stem and bars. If they support the things I care about I’ll support them.

If nothing else, Bryceland and Brage? Respect.

Adding Frameworks and the Goodman team just makes me more hyped.
