It seems not only 32" bikes are coming (leaked Trek models in this case) but also new 32" forks from Fox and RockShox will appear very soon. (Please don't take the following pics too seriously, no confirmation, no source I've found. There's a chance these are fake ones.) Oh god. That one dude who was clutching his pearls a few pages ago about the rumored 32” trek is gonna blow a gasket when he sees those pictures.

Most ski companies want their warehouse empty by early December, remaining items are closed out by January. There is some carry out over for lower churn segments like kids and backcountry. The ski industry is still making good money by selling new top sheets and colors each year and they will probably keep going. The least technology advanced products with the least R&D cost have the best margins. Sony get me wrong, ski technology is innovating and improving but compared to a bike the tech is more mature and people typically buy with shorter time horizons in mind

I don't recall seeing info on the Blur 5 here yet, but I think both Tobin Ortenblad and Ruth Holcomb were on it at the BCBR.

My prediction of super enduro bikes with dual crowns has yet to pay out, but it will. Mark my words.

Microspine drivers are a blight against humanity and should die in a fire along with the stupid plastic spacer they require to prevent Shimano cassettes from creaking like a haunted house. The only thing that might be worse than the microspine interface and its woefully anemic, made of cheese, lock ring might be the actual cassettes themselves which in the year of our lord 2026 still are half singe piece pinned garbage that falls apart and half stamped metal plates with spacers. Seriously, 12 speed shimano stuff is the most disappointing experience I've ever had with a drivetrain. I hate...
