2/19/2026 6:00pm The Norco Sight is a sleeper option here. Its a super lively bike - combo'ed with the high pivot, you get the best of both worlds. Its a sick kinematic - playful and poppy but when you put it in a straight line is can plow. Been on one all year and love it.

2/18/2026 7:41pm I'm sorry this is pedantic but every VPP and DW link suspension design is already a four bar linkage

2/9/2026 5:33pm I believe its the bones of the current Sight - 150/160fork - apparently rides exactly like it. Saw a guy on the trails with one who said that it pedals great with the motor off. Theres a dark purple c1 flavor and a silver c2 flavor, both with fox suspension. Launching this month.

2/6/2026 8:50am I’d wager it’s an Optic prototype. New version isn’t going to be HP, but will have a touch more travel than the Fluid. Probably…

2/5/2026 1:59pm Kirk from Norco riding something here - looks like low pivot Norco. Could be a Fluid... chainstay protector is different however.

2/5/2026 11:09am Depends on what XXL means - I am 6'3 and ride a Norco Revolver S5 with the seat slammed forward. But I would call myself an XL rather than an XXL. Maybe the new Spur?

2/2/2026 8:55am Those 3 brands + others mentioned in the old thread https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/The-Hub%2C2/2020-MTB-Tech-rumors-and-in… For Norco's new motor platform you speak of it's gotta be TQ right? They are all Bosch at the moment and launching with Shimano or Fazua would be suicide as those are old and hated motors. (I have no qualms with my Shimano motor) I'll eat my hat if it's SRAM Powertrain.

2/1/2026 9:59pm Few speculations: New Sram stuff: there is currently a countdown at this page https://www.sram.com/en/sram/mountain/campaigns/dh for February 23rd-24th, that is most likely Transmission AXS DH and new Boxxer E1 with linear XL air spring add-on and Charger 3.2 being launched. There is a possibility new Zeb B1 get launched at the same time they share the Linear XL air spring add-on. New Lyrik would most likely be only updated to charger 3.2 so could be soft launched at later date (possibly switch from D2 to D3 in Sram product nomenclature) I hope the new Pike D1 doesn't only get the updated...

2/1/2026 9:59pm Commenting on the Yeti in particular, iirc the sb160 came out in November 2022, followed by the sb120 then sb140 in quick succession. Wonder if that timeline will be similar again this year since the current gen was a 2023 model. Isn't the sb165 the newest non-E-bike from yeti? Wonder if that factors into the 2026 build kits. When I saw the 2026 catalog, I was slightly surprised to see yeti break the 3 year cycle they had done for at least the last 2 generations but I didn't pay that close of attention to the build kits

2/1/2026 6:59pm Earlier in the thread, the new Tallboy was said to be similar to the Vala suspension layout, with a 4bar. And in another post in this thread, someone said they saw someone riding a new six-finity pedal bike.

2/1/2026 6:58pm I just bought this bike and it’s all time. I need a big ass battery and full power rig for what we ride in and around Tahoe. All the buds rode full power so it wasn’t a decision (I did see a guy on the trail with the new Norco e-bike - must be coming soon - and he said...

2/1/2026 9:37am Tallboy = like a bigger Blur perhaps? Still flex stay but with more travel? For sure this rig is changing. Yeti sixfinity would be so rad - this year? I haven’t heard of a DJI Norco but there is another motor launching on their platform very shortly.

1/21/2026 10:59pm I think 2 Chainz might be more efficient than a high pivot idler setup. The small chain has excellent wrap and chain line so it really wouldn't be much efficiency loss, leaving you with a normal drive train (assuming the chain line isn't much worse because of it).
