3/2/2026 7:41pm I’ll concede that I was a little harsh on the guy yesterday. I’m sure he’s a great dude. I personally find Mike more relatable. I would argue that the real “breath of fresh air” comes from Charlie over here… As for the “boomer core-lord” burn;

3/1/2026 4:49pm Spoken like a boomer core lord. That’s what the viral forums seem to have become though. Dario is actually a breath of fresh air in mountain bike media, same as Jason. His perspective is a welcome change from the usual safe, generic industry takes the rest of the media recycles time and time again.

2/28/2026 11:49am Perhaps PB should start citing vital user names as a source. That would be cool. This thread has good sleuths. Dario is the man! I bet that they’ve been testing one.

2/27/2026 5:01pm I think the sleuths of this forum pointed out some key factors that point to this not being a pivot. And it being seen in BC.

2/27/2026 1:32pm What an interesting turn this would be, they already make backpacks and tailgate pads so there could be something to this. If I were a ski brand, after this abysmal winter in the west, I’d also be diversifying the portfolio to adding summer products… Big investment if true but the bike looks sick.

2/26/2026 11:10pm Heard that RMU, a ski company with shops in Truckee, whis, and breck, are launching an aluminum, DW designed all mountain bike (170 fork) that apparently pedals quite well. There’s likely to be a 140 version to follow, and potentially ebikes to follow that. Made in Taiwan. Should drop in March, curious if they’ll be at sea otter with it...

2/19/2026 6:00pm The Norco Sight is a sleeper option here. Its a super lively bike - combo'ed with the high pivot, you get the best of both worlds. Its a sick kinematic - playful and poppy but when you put it in a straight line is can plow. Been on one all year and love it.

2/18/2026 7:41pm I'm sorry this is pedantic but every VPP and DW link suspension design is already a four bar linkage

2/9/2026 5:33pm I believe its the bones of the current Sight - 150/160fork - apparently rides exactly like it. Saw a guy on the trails with one who said that it pedals great with the motor off. Theres a dark purple c1 flavor and a silver c2 flavor, both with fox suspension. Launching this month.

2/6/2026 8:50am I’d wager it’s an Optic prototype. New version isn’t going to be HP, but will have a touch more travel than the Fluid. Probably…

2/5/2026 1:59pm Kirk from Norco riding something here - looks like low pivot Norco. Could be a Fluid... chainstay protector is different however.

2/5/2026 11:09am Depends on what XXL means - I am 6'3 and ride a Norco Revolver S5 with the seat slammed forward. But I would call myself an XL rather than an XXL. Maybe the new Spur?

2/2/2026 8:55am Those 3 brands + others mentioned in the old thread https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/The-Hub%2C2/2020-MTB-Tech-rumors-and-in… For Norco's new motor platform you speak of it's gotta be TQ right? They are all Bosch at the moment and launching with Shimano or Fazua would be suicide as those are old and hated motors. (I have no qualms with my Shimano motor) I'll eat my hat if it's SRAM Powertrain.
