Coming from the PNW and never seeing running water on a long ride in SoCal has been a real adjustment, and it means I have to carry way more water on my person, or spend a lot of time looking at maps to figure out where all the stores and water fountains are, or both. I miss creeks. And shade. And overcast days. Don't ever leave. Stay there as long as you can, Cam. AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

Winner is whoever has the least amount of loctite on the main pivot bolt.

Dario is the man…? Beyond this meme I made, he is also pretty detached from real world consumers. I’ve heard he typically says something is “cheap” or very “competitively priced” during their podcast. When another host asks him how much it is - he doesn’t know. 🤨

Less I bet, Dario is actually trying to be core instead of just cosplaying it with Carhartt so now you get the occasional copy past from vital.

It is a mostly new frame. The geo is a bit more conservative, it has a different kinematic, and uses a shorter stroke shock. It uses the same battery and motor as the standard issue Levo 4, but you could put a 600wh battery in it to further lighten it. It’s nothing ground breaking, a handful of pounds lighter due...
Rumors point to the 18th being a firmware launch for the Gen 4 Levo. MOAR HRSPRS. As for the 24th, the grape vine is whispering about a lighter weight Levo. Same motor and batter, lighter part spec, revised kinematic, travel, and frame for a bit more lively ride.
The Chisel is getting the axe. Specialized is looking to cut “higher” end aluminum bikes out if their line up due to manufacturing and material cost. You’ll only see aluminum hard tails, road, gravel and hybrid. Nothing with pivot points. That’s the rumblings I’ve heard, at least.

I think it was said elsewhere on here before, but Specialized is winding down their apparel production and will no longer be producing anything besides gloves, helmets and shoes. Even those will have heavily reduced SKUs.

I was really hoping she would hold it together. It would be really sick to see more women get it. They did a good job picking Gracie and Louise but Millie always seems to go down and I don’t think she was anywhere near ready for stuff this big

There’s a name I haven’t thought of in ~10 years. Not since his bizarre Nomad V3 setup.

LinkedIn posts and I worked at Trek HQ up until last week. I decided to leave on my own terms for a new opportunity. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an article on Bicycle Retailer soon.

The rumor I was told was that every Maven lever is getting a retooling of the “swing link”, since they got so much guff for having a heavy lever feel. If anybody in here has put hands on the latest 13 speed road and gravel stuff, you’ll know Sram can achieve an extremely light lever throw. In other brake rumors...

Although the PFR team looks more relaxed than other factory teams, it does not make them a bad team. Sure, it is not a big factory team with a big budget, but they have their system that works for them and had some pretty good seasons in the past - 2023 and 2024 were pretty good. I think the addition of Dylan and a fired up Roger Viera is going to elevate this team and make them more competitive. Dylan is going to do great at PFR!
