4.2%... that makes me want to get a free bike for every female I know out there just to make this sport less of "rich white dude" sport.
Interesting that Sram and Avid are separate in brakes, I mean even if you combine both they still get to somewhere around 18% which doesn't hold a candle to shimano's 41%.
Maxxis is super interesting most shops in my neck of the woods tend to stick to the house brand tires. If they're a Trek shop it's bontrager if specialized specialized and so on. I wonder how many of those "oh yeah, I'm totally buying maxxis tires" turns into i bought Bontrager, Specialized or whatever because they were more available. I'm sure all the brands would argue that is what their sales show. After all, most tires are stacked up against a Maxxis tire

When I did this I checked deep into the numbers. The axle to crown for a DH fork is only about10-15mm more than the rxf36 m.2 I had on there...so it screws with it slightly (.1 inches higher BB, 1 degree slacker HA. I actually wanted the slacker HA, and got 30mm of more travel out of the front end. Bars can be exact...more
