Yep, solved if I'm understanding you correctly. Hall-lock mod so the b-pivot can't rotate. File the X01 b-bushing down slightly, a little bit at a time (test, file, test, file) until the derailleur can't rotate at the bolt. If you've got a GX there's no bushing to modify, it's a crappy steel-on-aluminum design that suffers from premature wearification. The X01...

Whistler management? You mean Vail, an American company? Not buying this one.

"tell me you started riding within the last 5 years without telling me you started riding within the last 5 years." all joking aside, yes its an older compound. while a good compound, definitely not used as much anymore, as maxxis has since released better offerings.

I would agree the super trail casing feels noticeably stiffer than exo and can probably benefit from a slightly lower pressure if all else is equal. I don't love the orange soft compound as a front tire but am fine with it on the back wheel.

I am personally very concerned about the ability for the user to toggle to class 3 and the higher speed cutoff. Specialized just opened a can of worms with access issues and ebikes being lumped in with electric motorbikes. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

In the meantime, I have an incoming factory order of a couple thousand mtb pants that are going to be hit with an additional 26% tariff, for 53.9% total import tax. India. That would be all fine and good, if: 1: I thought consumers would be wiling to pay 26% more. LOL. 2: Tariffs would hold at 53.9%. They won't...

Hi y'all, Longtime reader, though I rarely post. Some context I run a small non-bike company in Sheridan, WY. We make a ton in house, import a little, and outsource a bunch to other companies in the US. We do about 40% of our sales in Canada. These tariffs will put the brakes on the entire economy. My business is well positioned to make 100% of our product in the US, which would seemingly be a boon for us. But who is going to be able to buy it? Will our customers in Canada want to buy our products at...

100% Housing security (and food security) creates healthy and productive societies. Every crime statistic goes down when people can afford a place to live. Want innovation today? Go ten years in the past and feed and nurture the brains and bodies of the newest thinkers. The second best time to plant a tree is today.

"Side entry battery" on the new Levo - Does this mean that it has a removable battery? Would be ideal to me, since those full power e-bikes are just above the weight limit of what my bikerack holds (is probably OK, but dumb to take any chances) - And I store the bikes in a cold shed all winter, and its not very fun bringing an several month unwashed bike indoors to charge it in winter. Removable battery would be perfect for both those reasons

I've floated this idea a few times. The issue with Trump’s approach is that tariffs are likely to push CPI higher, not lower. Maybe that's temporary—maybe we adjust, enter a recession, rates fall, and he gets a window to refinance the debt. To be fair, one of the smarter ideas he had was the 2019 proposal to issue 100-year bonds while rates were historically low. That could’ve been a generational opportunity to restructure the debt. I’ll also admit I’m one of those people who sees the national debt as one of the biggest long-term threats to the U.S. I’m not...

What do you mean baby a long travel rig? Have you seen what material gravity race bikes have been made from for the last........10 years? I've seen more catastrophically broken alloy bikes in that time, and Pivot/Santa Cruz customers just plain don't want Aluminium anyway

I heard a rumor that this new ebike from Specialized can toggle between class 1 and class 3. If true, this blatant disregard for land and recreation managers from one of the United States' biggest sellers is pretty sh*tty.
