TRP EVO Pro Question. This is for folks that have run both the EVO Pro and the DH-R Evo's. I ran DH-Rs prior to some MT7s (HC3) then currently some Lewis options on my two primary bikes. I prefer my levers pretty close and just the index into the end curve, which resulted in me having to use Freedom Coast...

I heard a rumor that this new ebike from Specialized can toggle between class 1 and class 3. If true, this blatant disregard for land and recreation managers from one of the United States' biggest sellers is pretty sh*tty.

Just a data point, my real world experience with a specific hybrid bearing has been the total opposite of what you guys have read. I have a bbinfinite, Press Fit BB module, with hybrid bearings in my RM Slayer. This bike sees all sorts crappy weather and I have found it to be better than any bb I’ve ever had...

I’m not hating, but Sam Hill is 39 years old. Hasn't it been more than a decade since he won a UCI DH? Why are we talking about what his program is when everyone is cutting budgets? #flatpedalswinsmedals

Couldn't agree more, so many people getting angry about misinformation and conjecture. World Cup racing has been in flux since it's inception. This is just the next change in a long line of changes. Seems to me that the main source of anger on the forums and comments sections is that it's no longer "free" to watch DH racing. But for those of use who have paid to watch the DH racing (especially the womens) has been some of the best ever. What I gather from this forum is that the World Cup should be free to enter for anyone...

That's totally fine, I'm just pointing out that it could be affecting sales numbers as some people only want to purchase bikes from shops. It also means there are not as many on the sales floor for people to test ride or sit on, and with a new style of shock, many in the know will likely want to see...

Local shop says allocations are stupid, and Spech is holding them for themselves. He's gotten 2, and had to make phone calls for the second one for a customer. 3-4 month estimated delivery even though a consumer can order online.

Let's be honest, people are downvoting comments on Lewis brakes because their marketing/brand HQ is in China, unlike every other brake company that has its marketing/brand HQ located in the West but has its products manufactured in China.

I picked up a set for my Slayer without looking at the hose length... it's too short to work with the routing this bike has... My fault, but it was a major oversight on their part, in my opinion. Contemplating selling them instead of mounting them on a bike that I don't really need different brakes on.
Yes, it's a really bad shock in terms of reliability. My 2023 Super Deluxe ultimate shit the bed 30 minutes into its first ride. Sram made me pay shipping both ways 5 days after purchasing a brand new shock to fix it. It's been great after the rebuild. I was not stoked about the service, though, especially considering I purchased...

I think there is stability; just the money that came in 2-3 years ago is likely now making more of the decisions. Could have been a planned transition... could be something else. The timing with the other industry news certainly makes my brain go to the worst, admittedly without any first hand knowledge of this situation.
