4/12/2026 12:45pm in the recent hardline BC press release, the final paragraph says Hard by name, hard by nature, Red Bull Hardline isn’t for the fainthearted. Hailed as the toughest and most progressive downhill mountain bike race in the world, Red Bull Hardline returns to Tasmania and the hills of Dyfi Valley in the north of Wales in 2025. The intense course, built by Dan Atherton, combines tricky technical downhill features with huge freeride-style jumps. Red Bull Hardline is two stand-alone events. It is not a series. so with Tasmania done and BC to come, looks like 2 only this year.

4/11/2026 10:13am I spent a good chunk of last night trying to evaluate DJI's move through the lens of business and corporate strategy. While it might sound far-fetched, I genuinely believe DJI could be making a move that fundamentally changes the landscape of the e-mtb industry. A few thoughts: Amflow: I have it on good authority that Fox's number one customer is Amflow. If true, that should signal to the industry that Amflow is not a demo product. It's a company going after the likes of Specialized, Trek, Giant and other major incumbents. To add, there is nothing holding them back from...

4/10/2026 12:40am My guess is 90% for manufacturing as you can't cast a blind undercut geometry like that. You need the tooling to form the cavity and pull away in the direction of the cap.

4/10/2026 12:37am I guess Shimano is going to be the big loser from today's Avinox fiesta. If they don't launch a new motor soon they will lose a massive amount of their remaining market share.

4/10/2026 12:21am I'd be curious to hear from some of the industry people in this forum about what is, by my estimation, one of the weirdest release days I have seen since being interested in MTB. From the outside it seems like DJI placed an embargo on press releases/ forced brands into a certain launch window. I count eight Avinox M2S bike launches on Pinkbike. Surely this is frustrating for the manufacturers? Their bikes are being lost in sea of press releases for bikes that tout the exact same ground breaking tech. Seems like a marketing nightmare to have your product made...

4/8/2026 2:26am Not sure where to put this, and frankly a little bummed it's not already on the main page. Laurie Greenland posted a vid about what he's up to and hinted about future projects and sponsors. Stoked for the guy.

4/7/2026 2:55pm I've heard that Privateer is more or less mothballed at this point, but Hunt Wheels are still on-going. In case anyone wants to dip in, their latest financials are available here. They only cover up to September 2024. While I'm posting, thanks to everyone who contributes to this thread. It's a really interesting read.

4/5/2026 4:07am Huge cushcore fan and user here. Absolutely must have a Cushcore pro in rear wheels otherwise I will destroy them. The tire support for cornering is a nice benefit. I think I like the damped feel too, but that's definitely not the main reason I run them. I used to go through multiple rear wheels a year before Cushcore, which got really old. As others have mentioned, when I take a used Cushcore Pro insert out of my rear tire, it's completely knackered, covered in knife slits from the rim, which leads me to believe it's really doing it's job...
