3/16/2026 2:02pm I don't know whether to be alarmed or relieved that bikes are so homogenized that even aventon can release one.

3/14/2026 9:11pm Have you completely given up trying to genuinely contribute in these forums? I haven’t seen a post in weeks that has a positive connotation or actually adds to the conversation. Please don’t turn this place into a pinkbike comment section.

3/13/2026 6:22pm 9 months? But I thought the Supreme Leader said there was nothing left to target and he could end it any time he wanted. Maybe he's getting rich out of the higher oil prices? 🤔

3/12/2026 6:48pm The public has spoken, they prefer skinny downtubes over better handling. Even though many have documented that lowering the weight in this place is very noticeable and in a good way. My personal opinion is that Bosch should offer a skinny 800 (or more) battery to match what Avinox is doing as an option for the manufacturers. They can still offer the fat 800 if they prefer. I'm susceptible as well to the fashion statement. I wanted a 600w battery and I didn't want my bike to look pregnant and obviously be an e-bike. If the LTe had a narrow...

3/11/2026 1:24pm Great question. You'd think so, but no. Because the BB sits below the axles, and because FC and RC are measured from the center of the hub axle to the center of the BB, the FC and RC don't form a straight line. They form a slight "V" as they both dip down to the BB. Then you consult Pythagorus to get the exact difference in length. [Editor's note: This is wrong. See @kperras post below for full and correct explanation]

3/11/2026 1:23am I do agree but I also like a removable battery so i can take it on my rack without being way over the weight limit - my insurance wont cover if the bike is overweight an the rack breaks.

3/10/2026 4:42pm It's 100% being shown in April/ May time frame. My dealer told me that I'd only be able to get one around August and even then in the highest build kits. It's also 170/ 180. I choose to order a new Wild with a Bosch CXR because it suits my needs fine, I'll have it in < 3 weeks, and the price was actually pretty bonkers (good). Also, apparently Bosch is going to match Avinox power levels soon but that's not something that I care about personally. Keeping an e-bike running long term is a real thing and Avinox right...

3/8/2026 2:49pm or the fact reliability was their biggest issue. - Yamaha(giant) motors were very similar in power and delivery but they didnt see reliability issues and those other brands using them havnt dropped them. I've had 4 replacement shimano motors, never again. Imagin having a shimano motor with xt di2 wireless, Holy Filing cabinet down stairs.

3/3/2026 10:30pm It wasn't that long ago that "15 minute cities" was the latest far right snarl word/term. It didn't hit as hard in Australia but it still comes up from time to time. I work in transport planning and the hysteria around it completely baffled me. How can anyone possibly delude themselves into believing that the idea of city planning based around safety and accessibility for all transport modes and users is some kind of grand (communist?) conspiracy? A bloke I worked with on a few projects once raised Elon Musk's ire on Twitter by calling out his nonsense. It was...
