Statement from the founder of VHS who sold the company to RideWrap. TLDR: owner of Dyedbro is a scumbag To the MTB Community, Back in February, when I first saw the Dyedbro "SHUSH" hit the market, I made some heated comments on social media. I was operating on raw emotion after seeing a product I poured my life into get repackaged by the very people who actively sabotaged my company. Today, the dust has settled, I have the documented receipts, and I want to lay out the exact timeline of what happened. I started Velocity Hucking Systems (VHS) to solve...

Clearly this SHUSH product doesn't work great, it failed to keep Ridewrap silent.

Asking more and more money for less visibility to an industry that have less and less.... If PON choice road bike teams and influencers over XCO teams, it's mean XCO is less attractive from a marketing point of view. When brand will shut down road team instead of MTB team (dh or xc), then, i will be happy with warner.

I put some time in designing some 3D printable bar ends. Went through quite a lot of trial and error but now i'm really happy with how they turned out. Currently being tested by myself and a few local riders. So if you or someone you know owns a 3D printer, and you find it hard to justify 50 dollars for the wolf tooth ones, or you're waiting for them to restock maybe check out https://cults3d.com/:4581834 Total cost for a pair is somewhere about 5ish bucks including my file, filament, bolts and nuts. If you brake them, that's a few...

It's an interesting comparison - I needed ChatGPT to politely rephrase my thoughts on Antidote and it came back with "Well equipped, but still learning." But I also think that Frameworks is far more technologically advanced than they appear at first glance. When you look at the tools they've used for development I have a feeling they are also much further ahead than the majority of teams. The thing I really like about them is Frameworks seem to have min-maxed the hell out of the team so instead of wasting money on shiny pits they are getting all the benefits...

I got my first ride on these today. I'll get more in the coming week I'm sure. I paired them with a grip change to Wolf Tooth's lockon grips. For a little background, I have pretty significant neuropathy problems in both of my arms due to long running Cubital Tunnel syndrome. I've had surgery but the pain still exists when I ride and sometimes it still lingers after. My problems are somewhat the opposite of Joe's, his seem to stem from being highly athletic and having forearm pump, mine stem from sitting behind a computer since I was 8 years...

Orbea’s Wild has long been a benchmark in the long travel eMTB category. We’ve spent ample time on many of the Wild models throughout the past few years. In 2022, we were along for the ride when Wild relaunched as an enduro race eMTB. In 2025, we spent a season aboard the Bosch Generation 5-equipped model . Each version set a new standard—a stiff frame, potent power, and uncompromising geometry capable of technical climbs and descents. The Wild’s reputation has been solidified with numerous media awards and an entry in the UCI DH World Cup, sans motor. Fast forward...

Well it’s not true, and for those disliking, either work for Shimano or unable to bleed and set up brakes I guess, no other explanation

I can't speak to the MT520 brakes, but I started a thread in 2020 to ask people about running 2.3mm rotors on Shimano brakes. Lots chimed in and nobody cited any problems with running that arrangement. But again, nobody specifically mentioned trying it MT520 brakes, so YMMV. If you do give it a try, share your results in the forum! https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/The-Hub,2/2-3mm-rotors-on-Shimano-brake…

The 3D renders look a lot better than the reality... Even if these are technically flat and level, I've been bitten by stamped Shimano rotors too many times. I'll stick to laser cut/machined discs.

About time they caught up with where everyone else got to years ago. Hopefully this means less pre warped rotors being inflicted on the customers. At times it felt like more than half of the rotors were bent fresh out of the packet when I was installing them on customers bikes at the shop. The super budget brand rotors that...

Shimano new thicker 2.2mm rotor, the RT-750, in 200 or 220mm diameters is now officially live. Their mountain bike rotors have historically been 1.8mm thick and tapped out at 203mm (except for the cheaper RT-66 that was available in 220mm). The RT-750 is offered in the usual mounting styles—Center Lock (CL750) and 6-Bolt (6B750). Unlike Shimano’s XT or XTR rotors, it does not feature a two-piece design with Shimano’s Ice Technology. The rotors are claimed to offer all the usual benefits of going bigger and thicker 😶—more power/bite, better heat management for consistency over long runs and less chance of...
