I've had 2 bikes with the di2 and They were noisey asf. lots of chain smack. I thought hey lets try the updated springs in the latest mechanical XT - Yeah still ass. Someone put me onto the new advent mx Pro, Not looking back now, its fantastic & cheap.

Live broadcasting isn't required for success, and in my opinion gets in the way of producing quality enduro race content. I used to happily wait a few days to watch the EWS recap videos during the glory days, as others have said.

Haven’t read the whole thread but regarding broadcasting the Ultra Trail Mont Blanc pulled off live streaming the race following the runners through the alpine for 12 hours. I've been doodling around with my own design for a few months now... I quite like the surface to be harder*, flatter, smoother so it has less friction and doesn't grip the glove/hand, as long as the flange is at the same angle as the edge of the hand... My Italian is a little rusty, but it seems this was made using a servo from the RC world, connected to some kind of stroke measuring device on the brake lever blade. The idea being to change the compression settings of the shock under different types of braking events.

Absolutely. She rips and has ripped in a number of disciplines. I think her bike setup looks atrocious and I don't think I'd feel comfortable on anything like it but I'm glad that she likes it and can shred on it!

Getting a screenshot on insta reels is super hard! but I spotted this bracket with 2 positions. I got some rough measurements from the those other pictures to estimate the change in Linkage (I don't think the model in there wasn't super accurate either) and yup, it probably increases the AR to 100-120%

I almost made a joke earlier about this event heralding the beginning of the next 20-year gearbox winter but it's clear the industry is different now. I think they'll probably remain niche in bicycles but they make a lot of sense in e-bikes.
