7/6/2026 7:28pm I think for most brands now the addage of "there are no bad bikes" is quite true. But as a 5'10 (177cm), I am pretty sure my favourite reach is in the 460-470cm range, so I get pretty bummed out by the amount of brands these days that have a 450mm M and a 480mm L! One thing that drives me crazy is how innacurately BB drop is measured/reported/guessed by many brands, and how rare it is that brands give a target BB height (assume 2.4 tyres) even if it is probably innaccurate. My last 2 bikes came in 10-20mm...

6/15/2026 8:36pm Had a pretty big ride on the new 2.4 Trail Romy radial, just because it’s quite a bit shorter than the Albert I went up 1 psi, I’m impressed by the grip, after the first ride it measures 60mm knob to knob, gained 2mm from when freshly mounted. It rolls considerably faster than the Albert, I can make it drift/slide without forcing it with the brakes unlike the Albert, still great traction on tech/slippery climbs and great braking traction on the way down too, really nice tyre

6/15/2026 8:13am Excuse my French, but could we fucking please stop calling bikes "analog", "acoustic", or -the worst I've heard- "bio"? Bikes are bikes. Ebikes are something else. Now get off my fucking lawn you punks!

6/10/2026 8:13am you guys are just shocked at these racks! Am I missing something? It’s just a rack set for their existing bike? Great!l, fine! You fragile fundamentalists… They look like sick racks. Dudes in the ad roasted up to a hut, removed the racks, ripped some trails, drank some beers, slept and ripped home the next day? I’m cool with it, that’s exactly what I like to do! E-bikes are beyond perfect for that mission. The worst ebike is miles better than the best pedal bike. Figuring out how to get laps on laps on laps of my favorite trails was...

6/9/2026 7:57pm Will report back sometime soon, just swapped one on. Been running the same Kryptotal Fr DH supersoft on front/rear on both my enduro and DH bikes for 2 years and it's been my favorite setup of all time, but I also ride blown out dusty trails all summer so swapped to Argotal ss enduro front, krypto Re dh ss on the enduro. First impression was very good but need more time before recommending over the double Fr, which I just did a Schladming day on and they were hooooking.

6/8/2026 7:24am Fallacy or not, if our domestic manufacturing capacity is contingent on wreaking havoc in the Middle East and the global south then I want nothing to do with it. Based on the tidbits shared above, it sounds like our domestic production capacity only exists because the ruling class can’t afford to outsource defense manufacturing without the risk of it being used against them (see Westmag drones) but they’re happy to sell us out for everything else. It may support the workforce but that’s just happenstance as evidenced by them actively trying to replace human labor with AI without any plan...

6/8/2026 7:22am The "multiplier effect" is an economic fallacy. "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."

6/4/2026 8:30pm It’s a vertical shock alignment similar to the old Diamondback Knucklebox design (mentioned above) or a Propain. Nothing to patent. It’s just a Utah County based company thinking it needs overdo marketing as they’re prone to do. Utah is the land of perceived aesthetics.

5/28/2026 4:22pm I’m running Trail Pro Radials front and rear and my butt hasn’t fallen off yet. I’m 220lb with gear/water and running 33 psi in back, though, so check your rim’s max pressure spec if you’re a heavier rider.

5/28/2026 2:21pm Am I an idiot for considering schwalbe radial trail casing for the rear? I Usually run conti enduro casing with an insert to save rims but I now run a pretty hefty DH rim on my trail bike. Considering it to save some weight on the rear. Will I die?
