Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

Sel + Cam + Rogatkin is like a fever dream combo. It reminds me of that scene in Letterkenny when all 3 of the boys are hammered and they're being so annoying the bouncer just knocks one of them out to get them to shut the fcuk up...

There is something really odd about the way the announcing style juxtaposes to the weight and gravity of what is happening. Yelling into microphones like overly excited 14 year old boys feels strange when its punctuated by silence of life changing crashes. I have tons of respect for the riders but I did not enjoy watching the little bit I watched this year. Ugh. Gnarly.

To me, it seems like an obvious PR move and show of good faith to say hey if you ordered a Pole and never got it we’ll hook you up with a bike. How else will you convince people to give you their money again?

So much chat about Dak, he’s 33, has had 5 podiums in his career (UCI DH) not exactly lighting the world on fire. Lets face it we love him because he’s an under dog and his comeback this year was awesome BUT, his injury was his own fault messing about on pit bikes at his home, if you are a big team and your rider injures themselves like that messing about on pit bikes you’d be asking questions. I’m sorry, but Daprela doesn’t ‘deserve’ anything. Racing at a World Cup level is a privilege not a right. It’s beyond just being fast, you also need to have certain aspects of professionalism and be enjoyable to be around. Regardless of what actually happened in the ‘incident’, his continued behavior in the aftermath is uncouth and any team should be hesitant for that alone.

It sounds like his leg was so goosed he couldn't even do a warm up, but was just up there to keep the pressure on Goldstone. It was a letdown having the defining moment of the season being some random guy in the start hut, but I don't really begrudge Bruni that. Oh ok sweet as, so you have an issue with them following a completely normal distribution model? Were you planning on shipping it back to canada for a service every time as well? I normally wouldn't engage here but needed to clarify - The european distributors are the ones carrying shocks, parts and tools to make sure you're looked after in a reasonable time frame and the pricing is often dictated by certain things outside of their control. If that makes them too expensive for you then thats cool - you're welcome to get something locally produced if saving money...

Or was it someone else?) interview with Kolb talking about how Oisin told him it was clear to him YT were saving and cutting costs on things for the Mob right from the get go this preseason.
