You don't think those 20 forks have been stripped and grease/oil volumes double checked and bushing clearance/how free they run without damper and spring in place? I think Fox would be insane to spend all that money to run a press camp and not make sure that those 20 forks were the absolute best version of the product that they could be.

I've brought this up several times, so if you are on other forums I apologize for the broken record, but how the F*CK can anyone ride a DJI bike that has no means of protecting the chainring? I wouldn't make it 1 ride without a bash ring/ guard. Yes, I know I suck, lots of us do and that's not the point. It appears Crestline has handled this, but no one else has even considered it. This one fact alone leaves me on a Bosch (sans Crestline), which is a fantastic option. But still!

I haven't had time to watch any of these deep dive videos, so this is a hasty judgement, but I gotta say that products like this make me think we're starting to completely lose the plot of mountain biking. Who wants to spend $2000 on JUST THE FORK for their mountain bike? And that fork likely requires you to get at least a new front wheel, so tack on a few extra benjies at minimum. UDH isn’t proprietary. SRAM doesn’t charge bike manufacturers to use it. Personally I think the UDH is a good thing AND I think the SRAM direct mount derailleur is a bad idea.

also worth noting: every single anti-proportional cs person talks incessantly about tight corners, as if thats the best part of mountain biking. "how will you steer your bike through 180° switchbacks?!?" dude i don't look forward to those types of turns on any length cs or wheelbase. when we are talking about suspension performance we hear the same thing about pedaling efficiency, as if pedaling uphill is this incredible experience that we are all looking forward to. Why are we designing bikes around moments that at best are bearable on a bike rather than optimizing our bikes for absolutely sick...
