I was going to private message you but you have it turned off. I don’t disagree wcs needed their fields cut down for logistical reasons. I do disagree greatly with how the eso is doing it. And disagree greatly that their goals align in reality with riders best interests. I think the thing that makes people suspicious of WBD and UCI is that WBD and UCI keep doing suspicious things (including well-documented meetings with certain team managers but not all team managers and forcing them into NDAs as tight as not revealing anything even to athletes on their own teams in order to be in those meetings). The difference between the 2 is that Red Bull's events are private events, organised, produced & broadcast by them. They can invite whoever they want, no one can argue otherwise. WBD are organising World Cups on behalf of the UCI, the world governing body for competitive cycling events. They should be completely neutral & the only way to be free from bias/influence is to go off points for all teams. Personal opinion... I don't agree with handing control of the highest level of a sport to a TV production company to shape it how they want. I think I might've...
