6/23/2026 10:20pm If you had said only Shimano I'd believe you. Sram's portfolio is different, with not nearly the same depth of entry level price points as Shimano.

6/23/2026 7:46am Your questions answered! Thanks everyone who asked a question. We did our best to get them all answered, and Specialized was pretty transparent in their response. And oh yeah, the bike rips 🤤 Enjoy!

6/22/2026 12:40pm Don’t hate the tool. Hate the “tool.” Utilized in the proper context, they are loads of fun. It’s unfortunately too easy to act the fool on one.

6/22/2026 9:53am You'd be surprised. The Surrons around here are decked out in Fox factory, EXT, etc suspension, anodized MTB parts, TRP DHRs, etc. The overlap in customers is significant.

6/20/2026 8:40am "Vali Höll finished in tenth place after an uncharacteristically slow run." I suppose technically it was a slow run if you're looking at just the total run time, but her deficit was almost certainly due to time lost when she had a near wreck in the fourth sector. She was fastest in the first sector and at the 3rd split she was only 0.165 seconds behind Anna's time at that split. This Instagram reel shows a short replay that includes the near wreck: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DZzl00_DRu4/?hl=en

6/19/2026 1:28pm Why would one grease loctite...or in this case the PTFE tape that's been applied to the threads? I like the applicator however. I wonder if it fits the bleed syringes that various brake manufacturers sell.

6/13/2026 4:38pm Excuse my French, but could we fucking please stop calling bikes "analog", "acoustic", or -the worst I've heard- "bio"? Bikes are bikes. Ebikes are something else. Now get off my fucking lawn you punks!

6/12/2026 12:32pm It makes perfect sense to me that the true fastest and best riders will rise to the top in horrible conditions, as opposed to the roll of the dice that we've seen at most races in the super competitive era of Q1, Q2, and a 30 rider final. The better the conditions are, the more I think they reward a gambler's mindset. Everyone is going to be going roughly the same speed and the only way to set yourself apart is going to be risking it all for the biscuit. Some will get lucky, some won't, everyone will be going...

6/10/2026 4:33pm because the numbers are wrong, it was 52.5% ebikes and 47.3% bicycles that were sold in 2025 in germany. in the mtb segment, it was 793500 emtb to 52500 mtb. source: https://www.ziv-zweirad.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Marktdaten-Fahrra…

6/10/2026 12:42pm Pretty far from 97-3 ratio I'd say. The G-A-S region has always been an regional specialty when it came to performance mtb. They resisted 2x, 1x, progressive geo, real tires, to name a few things, well into the adoption phase in other markets. Being a leader in eMTB market penetration doesn't mean that they're early, more that the MTB culture...
