Honestly looks pretty good. Sometimes 29/27 mullets look a little weird because the jump in sizing. This looks just slightly bigger. The bike looks pretty proportional.

I think Gwin set a good example this year for riders that are looking to retire out. Obviously Gwin's name/history carries alot of weight and his riding is still right up there with the best on a good day. I have a feeling we will see several other riders follow in his footsteps moving forward. Keep em' on the roster for branding/name recognition (+ Merch sales), let them race the venues of their choice with more focus on local tracks (- travel expenses), and leverage their most valuable asset, experience. ( + priceless)

Was lucky enough to ride a full 32" bike recently and, hate to say it, my first thought was, "Hmmmm wonder what a 30.5" wheel would be like". The 32" bike (a hardtail at that) made mincemeat of a steep, technical rocky climb that was a lot, lot harder on a 29er full suspension bike. It was comparatively easy on the 32". I was genuinely surprised at the difference. Where it lost out was the corners, no where near as fun or agile feeling. I'm 6ft 1 so don't generally worry about tyre clearance issues, but on certain bikes, for...

Maybe 3 or 4 years ago Wyn Masters gave Antoine his Privateer of the Week award and he interviewed Antoine. Antoine told how someone had stolen his bike and Loïc Bruni had given him one of his bikes so Antoine could race that week. I became a fan of Antoine's at that moment, and I recognized what a great guy Loïc was. It's little stuff like this that make me a fan of this sport.

Actually, the latest round of retail bikes were the Genio versions from Taiwan which is also what the whole team started out racing with this year. During one of the breaks, Asa rode one of Neko’s bonded prototypes and liked it so much he raced it for the last few WCs.

I actually meant Martins role as a mentor to Neko through his racing career and immediately afterwards when he started Frameworks. I wasn't referring to this seasons win.
