That said with the young fam seeking an ok pay check to do European/uk races in the camper van probably makes more sense than chasing a full wc schedule for a handful of more chances at a result for his history books. He can still cherry pick some tracks to give the wcs a go too. Kind of like Aaron.

I agree it wouldn't surprise many if Danny retires, but I don't know if it would be a voluntary retirement rather than simply running out of options. If he's not on a factory team in 2027 I would like to see him show up as a privateer for a few European WC races as well as World Champs.
