Unfortunately not possible. Since the motor is in the way, the shock position and therefor the toptube will always be much higher on an e bike with the shock standing on front of the seat tube.

"Ideally, the rear triangle flexes via roll enough to allow the rear wheel to deflect impacts and avoids as much wag as possible, mitigating unpredictable steering." Is this noticeable (in a good way) on single pivot bikes like Orange? Or maybe someone here rode a Chumba or Zonenschein DH bike and can remeber such feeling? Devinci Wilson and Rocky RMX...

I think the next gen of batteries will hit during the upcoming weeks/months for some manufacturers with wh/kg more inline with the new Orbea Rise batteries or the Bosch Compacttube 400. From my experience the Bosch SX or Fazua are plenty for anyone who isn't very tall or overweight (heavy people) and just wants to get up the fireroads faster/easier...

I just swapped the Code Stealths that came on my new bike for Cura 4s. I thought I would just run the Codes - how bad can it really be. I tried different pads and the braking power is just not enough for me at 72kg with 200mm discs on long descents. On the second half of longer alpine trails...

badIuck Added a comment about feature Vital MTB Test Sessions - Lightweight 'SL' E-Bikes

My favourite category of bikes, thanks for the great test. I don't really see a point in owning an enduro bike anymore. I just use my Levo SL for anything as you can have the same agile riding style jumping around as with a non e-bike due to the light weight. Also torturing myself up super steep gradients with an enduro bike just isn't fun to me, going downhill his. For torturing myself I use my road bike which is much more fun uphill. Then I can shred trails on rest days. Hate to be that guy #1: Shame that...

iceman2058 Liked a product review Tested: Newmen Beskar Flat Pedal

How do you make something very light yet very strong? In the Star Wars universe, it’s simple: use Mandalorian beskar, a super-tough alloy that can even resist direct lightsaber hits for some time. In the real world, most of us don’t need our stuff to be lightsaber-resistant, so Newmen settled for a regular Earthly aluminum body with a titanium spindle for their first foray into the flat pedal galaxy. To check their work, we laid our hands on a sample pair and put it to the test under our resident, clumsy old Stormtrooper’s size 12 battle boots. Keep reading to...

badIuck Added a comment about feature FIRST RIDE: Specialized Launches the Levo SL Gen 2

Full power e bikes aren't fun to me on the downhills. Its a completely different riding experience and for me there is a certain point, at around 19kg bike weight, where the most fun part of mountain biking isnt as much fun anymore to me, because the bike weight hinders me in executing my usual riding style. The Levo SL or Focus Jam SL i rode feel 99% like my regular enduro bike and nothing like these cumbersome full power e bikes, where you have to brake and commit to lines in steep terrain much earlier and never really feel...

Mine cracked after one season of enduro riding at 72kg rider weight but they replaced the frame immediately and made a wall thickness change to that area - great bike. I went back to11 speed because I stopped counting my desintegrated 12 speed derailleurs. I use 30 or 28t chainrings because where I ride it goes steep uphill and steep...
