3/31/2025 9:29am The arrogance is in your considering the two things as ridiculous. The words you use may or may not be arrogant, they reveal arrogance. Your defense of your behavior also reveals arrogance. Try disagreeing respectfully.

3/31/2025 8:00am Yeah, I think he was traveling in the States and might have borrowed a bike for a quick ride before he heads south for his lymphoma clinical trial. I think the only reason it would have been taken down is because he wasn't riding a Forbidden, rather than riding a top-secret Forbidden.

3/31/2025 7:59am A Domain won‘t exist in a Forbidden + bike looks „wrong“ to say the least. The CS-BB region looks wrong if you know what I mean 😉.

3/30/2025 11:19pm If I can add my 2 cents here. I don't think Sram paid Jack, or the team, anything. That whole YT deal is that they run whatever they want because they don't take money from any sponsors. Now I think that was changing because the industry is struggling and they probably saw how much money they were losing out on. My best guess is YT asked Sram to pay to support the team and they said no, so YT doubled down on the TRP/Fox association they had already been building. Vali would be the only one I could see saying...

3/30/2025 11:18pm I think it’s fair game to question Jesse. I’m no pro mountain biker but from my own professional experience I’d say it’s pretty uncommon to know exactly what kind of a deal the guy at the desk next to you is getting. That being said Jesse is a World Cup winner in the sport that we all love and frankly we’re lucky to have him here. Show the dude some respect

3/30/2025 11:16pm really? maybe i'm out of luck but i hated every db8 i had a chance to ride, the lever flexes here and there as the bushing holding the blade in place are always loose, stiff lever and power wise worse than codes rsc, which is already meh, feel in general is very cheap and goes with the look, i really don't get them, just from a parking lot test the motive seems to have basically the same power but with a way lighter lever feel and higher quality perception

3/30/2025 11:15pm That was my first thought, although it really doesn't look like the traditional Forbidden suspension layout or design language. Also does not look like an Avinox system which I had on good authority it definitely uses. EDIT- After a closer look it could be Avinox, kinda hard to tell from those pics

3/30/2025 9:36pm Air shocks aside, the temp of the shock doesn’t really tell you anything if you don’t know the tune and what it has just done. It’s a simple conservation of energy equation. The heat generated by the damper is the work it has done to absorb impacts.

3/29/2025 9:29pm I mean, paid or not. He was the only one out of the three enduro riders on YT that ran 100% sram parts. Both Kasper and Texi ran some other bits on their bikes for personal preference (Trp brakes etc). But Moir ran the full RS/Sram setup, even a 170mm dropper even though his legs could have him run a 200mm+ dropper from another brand. Thats what makes me think he had some kind of paid deal with Sram. The other guys also ran some blackbox/prototype stuff on their bikes, but Jack was often first. And he also spoke positively...

3/29/2025 9:25pm Us bike nerds notice when there's a new color bolt on a stem. Someone definitely would have noticed Nino and Filippo winning Cape Epic on 32" wheels. They are easy to spot.

3/28/2025 10:56am The DB8 casually launched a few years ago and since has been a silent hero in the world of low-maintenance, get-the-job-done brakes still curious what the "job" the db8s are doing, i keep finding ridiculous the poor performance/feel these brakes can have in 2025.

3/26/2025 8:58am Getting old has made me a religious knee pad wearer, even on XC-ish rides, which I think is good. Worst falls often happend on easier trails and such. But my newfound resolve isn't about being safer. I've just realized that if I always wear knee pads, my knees warm up quicker and I'm less likely to tweak anything! 😂
