9/9/2025 2:23pm Having worked on a good number of bikes with these types of arches, I can confirm they don't get any more dirty than a "standard" arch. In fact, when it's super sloppy, it gives the goop a place to go rather than accumulate around the wipers.

9/9/2025 2:04pm Looks like prototype Max Grayston has been riding over the past year. I wonder if Chromag will be releasing more bikes during Crankworx?

9/9/2025 1:59pm I'm taking this as confirmation that the Vala really is the prototype GT ebike that never saw production.

9/9/2025 1:25pm yeah, na. so for example, cube ebike, didn’t mount the dropper cable correctly, to fix it you need to drop the motor, remove the battery and deal with cable tourism. at least a 1-2h job. they reimburse you 15eur for that. but our billable hour is 129 chf.

9/9/2025 1:16pm 1) I think you're at the exact peak of the Dunning Kruger graph here. 2) That was a hint to get this discussion out of this thread.

9/9/2025 1:15pm I assume "chainstay length" is supposed to be the distance between the BB axis and the rear axle axis, while "rear centre length" is the minimal distance between those two points projected vertically? Gee I hope there are some tech rumours to talk about soon.

9/9/2025 1:08pm Jonathan Helly just keeps winning on the 2024 WAO prototype DH bike. Now he's the latest Canadian DH National Champion, and took last (3) Dunbar series races in a row. It would certainly be in consideration for "the" hot new DH bike of the year if only WAO was on the World Cup circuit, still making frames and made it available to the public... Oh what could have been.
