I'm dealing with the dreaded chain not seating/ skipping on the 3rd cog issue on my SO's bike with T90. Shifts great across the range then the ramps on the 3rd cog are too wide or cassette was manufactured out of tolerance spacing. Looking into a cassette warranty now. I find the new T type setup scheme to be more confusing and janky. I never had an issue adjusting a B limit screw or H/L stop. Jamming hex spanner into a slot as a setup datum and hand tensioning the "B limit" while torquing correctly, with EXACTLY the right (proprietary)...

Well, When Conroy’s dad helped him buy Yeti 20+ years ago, Yeti sorta became Yeti again… The late Scott/early Volant years were the only time I can recall Yeti not being as invested in bike racing as they were in Agoura Hills or Durango, but the entire mtb racing world collapsed in on itself at the turn of the millennium anyway. Yeti painted themselves into a corner with the decade they spent focused on Enduro(after shuttering their ownership of Mountain States Cup), but they opened those sample molds for pumptrack and dh bikes a few years ago and have been...

I know I’m in the minority here but I’d take a slightly cheap feeling shifter that feels like a shifter over one that feels like adjusting the volume on a cheap bluetooth speaker any day.

I don't get the SRAM 90 hate. Intuitive shifter ergonomics (unlike the AXS pod) and it just works. Most durable, reliable system I've ever used by a country mile. I guess it could have a smoother shifter, but I've never once thought about it when out on the trail. I actually sold my AXS T-Type to a friend in favor of 90 after forgetting to charge the battery again. It's good we have choices.

It's a shame there is no way to adjust the height of your handlebars. If you bike's stack is 10mm lower than you'd like you just have to put up with it.It's really unfortunate.

Recovered my stolen 1-up rack because of one. Dude had his van stolen with his bikes in it. His bikes had AirTags (in the steerer tube? forgot) and he was able to get his van, bikes, my rack + two other stolen 1-Ups and a van full of stolen power tools. The tools weren't his, but the cops said they were now. Inside of the van was torn up and smelled like a methlab…

Has anyone actually recovered a bike with air tags? It was my understanding is that they are super easy to detect and any halfway sophisticated criminal does this immediately

If you believe the CEO of Madison, Jordan walked out on the last year of a signed contract with Madison/Saracen to link up with Specialized. You would speculate that a bigger salary, more professional setup and Specialized lawyers saying "LOL, try us" all played a part. You can read the comments from 'Dominiclangan' in this thread on the other site. From memory this was only a year after Danny Hart announced he would be leaving Madison/Saracen while they were still a few rounds left to race which was and still is extremely unusual, reading between the lines of those two...

Just to feedback on longer term performance of Mary Gravity Radial as requested... I have run Ultra Soft Front/Soft Rear on my DH bike (Trek Session) for the past two weeks at Tignes/Val, Pila, Les Arcs, Les Saisies, Chatel, Champery World cup track, and rounding it off with a 10km vertical day at Morgins. Faultless! The grip is sensational, it hooks up on lines where you wouldn't expect it to stick. It rarely burps (no sealant down the sidewall, hardly loses pressure after a day), and you can actually run at pressures similar to conventional tyres if you accept the...

I do think it has a lot to do with team support and maybe NV10 helping with the prep and mental game, but... I'm pretty sure Loic has said in an interview that whatever tech Jack and him develop, they get exclusive access for the full season until the next year. So Loic could have been on better suspension with a smarter electronics system than the other boys in previous years, but now they get the full system. Added to that wasn't it last year (could be 2 years back) that Finn said his off season getting used to the...

Here's a challenge: name another team with three elite male racers who could win on any given day. Was that team able to sustain that level of parity between their riders? I have to go back to IronHorse Madcatz or Volvo Cannondale in my mental rolodex to think of a team that's had this level of talent on the payroll. What's most impressive and surprising is that Specialized (who typically cannot wait to drop underperforming riders) has kept Jordan on the payroll for the four years of consistently upper midpack results since his first win so that he had time...

Loic always got preferential treatment. They all talked about it many times. Loic being out has always been the thing Finn needed. Jordan I don’t know, he’s more of an enigma. That said, they were all flying in S. Korea. Nico being in the team must be a game changer.

The Extraterrestrial is more important to the team's recent success than the bike or Loic being gone.

Or maybe people are reacting to your lack of respect for their time. You’ve added a signature to every one of your posts advertising your AI coded product in a forum where almost no one uses a signature so it’s basically spam. When you asked a technical question and were given resources that answered your question in great detail written by an industry subject matter expert you used AI to read it for you and it gave you a wrong answer which others had to correct. People are putting time into knowledge sharing and you’re here just slop-posting which is...
