Cannondale isn't niche at all. If PON cans it that is a huge loss to cycling as a whole. Cannondale is one of the most storied (and interesting!) brands across road, DH & XC.

Codahale, not surprised to hear this. I found the MM radial a good all arounder. It does everything pretty well and does loamier dirt in the San Juan high country really well. To me it doesn't quite have that same level of locked in when leaning feel that the TC seems to, like a DHF, but it certainly hooks up fine and doesn't seem to need as much of a committed lean as the TC does to bite fairly well in natural bermless corners. As far as I have read, both of these motor gear box units being presented by Gobao and Avinox are being billed as CVT (or infinite gearing) systems. CVTs are rather simple in application. Are you torquing the Lever/hose nut? Mavens Require this and its very important or the brakes will never stay good. I've not needed to bleed mine in 10 months, 3/4 sets of pads on an ebike, just clean pistons and push them back for new pads, set gap with little spacer and go.

I've just picked up a new bike that came with Maven silver.. Having been a long time user of Formula Curas and more recently DHR-EVO, I'm really quite impressed with the Mavens. It's an interesting comparison - I needed ChatGPT to politely rephrase my thoughts on Antidote and it came back with "Well equipped, but still learning." But I also think that Frameworks is far more technologically advanced than they appear at first glance. I've been running the originals on my DH bike and really like them. I described them to a mate as a bit like the difference between clipless and flats Only drawback has been the metal bolt that scratches WHATEVER you lean your bike against so that's a consideration.

I ran the Assegai for years it was a great tire in the dry. Was really consisent and easy to lean over which is something I didn't find the Butchers did very well. It was quite wide feeling and may have benefited from a 2.4 width like the HR3 but that's splitting hairs. My only real complaint was how it got clogged up with mud in the wet.
