7/19/2026 6:49pm I would be highly concerned of the detergent damaging the plastic or foam so I wouldn't risk it. Also don't want anything thats been sweaty going through the same machine as my dishes..... I never thought of them being hard to clean? You can hand washed the pads/replace them occasionally and the rest just wipe it down with a cloth and maybe mild soap

7/19/2026 10:54am Just blissfully rolling along on indestructible, quiet, low engagement DT350 hubs over here. In the forest, people barely know I'm there instead of sounding like an inner city brake rotor on a Dodge Neon dragging pad off the wheel.

7/19/2026 10:41am Here's my experience on the new Maven B1 I decided to try out the B1 Mavens after my Radics started losing pressure (both side MC bores had scratches). I previously had a set of maven A1's last season, but decided to go with the Radics due to them feeling better in the stand (I nerd out on my bike more than I ride it). I've always used steel brake hoses with the Mavens that Radic uses. This is just due to them looking way cooler, there's zero noticeable difference in feel compared to original Sram hoses. I've also only used...

7/19/2026 10:34am Also had issues with my 90 setup. Turned out to be not enough cable tension, but the weird part is it only affected one cog in the middle of the cassette. Since fixing that it’s been fantastic. Can’t remember if it was said earlier, but it sure feels like SRAM made the mechanical stuff harder to setup as a way to steer people toward AXS.

7/16/2026 4:44pm I don't really buy that theory. Looking at the last few seasons, this feels more like a natural progression than Loïc not being there. Finn Iles 2024: Already one of the fastest riders in the field. Multiple podiums and only 0.169s off the World Championship win. 2025: Injury/concussion issues meant he never found his rhythm and openly talked about it 2026: Looks more like a return to form than a breakthrough. Jordan Williams 2023: Won an Elite World Cup in his rookie season, proving the speed was already there. Had a hard time to find his rhythm and speed in...

7/15/2026 11:16pm What issues with the jab are you talking about? Just curious, I have one of the first ones made and have yet to add any of the “enhancements” but I still love the way it shifts, with the UDH brace, haven’t run it without… It’s pretty rad in my opinion that every time they come up with something to make it better they offer the upgrades at a significantly reduced price for current owners, free would be better but it’s a small price to pay for a small outfit that I want to support and see succeed in the long...

7/15/2026 10:22am I'm dealing with the dreaded chain not seating/ skipping on the 3rd cog issue on my SO's bike with T90. Shifts great across the range then the ramps on the 3rd cog are too wide or cassette was manufactured out of tolerance spacing. Looking into a cassette warranty now. I find the new T type setup scheme to be more confusing and janky. I never had an issue adjusting a B limit screw or H/L stop. Jamming hex spanner into a slot as a setup datum and hand tensioning the "B limit" while torquing correctly, with EXACTLY the right (proprietary)...

7/15/2026 9:58am Well, When Conroy’s dad helped him buy Yeti 20+ years ago, Yeti sorta became Yeti again… The late Scott/early Volant years were the only time I can recall Yeti not being as invested in bike racing as they were in Agoura Hills or Durango, but the entire mtb racing world collapsed in on itself at the turn of the millennium anyway. Yeti painted themselves into a corner with the decade they spent focused on Enduro(after shuttering their ownership of Mountain States Cup), but they opened those sample molds for pumptrack and dh bikes a few years ago and have been...

7/15/2026 9:20am I know I’m in the minority here but I’d take a slightly cheap feeling shifter that feels like a shifter over one that feels like adjusting the volume on a cheap bluetooth speaker any day.

7/14/2026 9:57pm I don't get the SRAM 90 hate. Intuitive shifter ergonomics (unlike the AXS pod) and it just works. Most durable, reliable system I've ever used by a country mile. I guess it could have a smoother shifter, but I've never once thought about it when out on the trail. I actually sold my AXS T-Type to a friend in favor of 90 after forgetting to charge the battery again. It's good we have choices.

7/14/2026 5:01pm It's a shame there is no way to adjust the height of your handlebars. If you bike's stack is 10mm lower than you'd like you just have to put up with it.It's really unfortunate.

7/14/2026 5:01pm Recovered my stolen 1-up rack because of one. Dude had his van stolen with his bikes in it. His bikes had AirTags (in the steerer tube? forgot) and he was able to get his van, bikes, my rack + two other stolen 1-Ups and a van full of stolen power tools. The tools weren't his, but the cops said they were now. Inside of the van was torn up and smelled like a methlab…
