Could they get rid of lifetime warranty now that Crankbrothers has a lifetime alloy rim competing with them? The economics of this seem to make sense on $650 rims where a small fraction of riders are cracking rims and almost certainly only the rear so thats around 50% of the sold rims ever even with a chance making an insurance claim. I think you've got rose colored glasses on regarding the Amflow frame. The v1 got a lot of criticism for being very flexy, particularly in the rear end. It had the dubious design choice of a yoke-driven trunnion shock (Vorsprung says in their suspension design manual that if you end up with that design, you should "put down the bong and start again"). Slapping Fox suspension and Transmission drivetrain on it isn't some genius product manager move - almost every bike out there does that these days. I typically use the climb switch once per ride. I like to turn it on halfway up the climb when I remember I have it and might as well use it. I tend to turn it off halfway down the descent when I’m puzzling over why my suspension isn’t working. I suspect I am not in the minority.

"Riding stuff from Asia" is a pretty gross over-simplification of what actually happens to bringing a performance bike to market. I'd guess that the secret sauce for western brands is operating in a core environment that drives product excellence, which translates to a superior product to what non-core brands are able to offer. The Amflow frame, for example, is largely panned over by most and the focus of the brand is on the e-system itself. My guess is they’ll phase out the aluminum Reserve products to position Reserve as the premium product with a premium warranty. It would be a sneaky way to quietly stop offering a lifetime warranty/replacement on aluminum wheels too.

Cannondale isn't niche at all. If PON cans it that is a huge loss to cycling as a whole. Cannondale is one of the most storied (and interesting!) brands across road, DH & XC.

Codahale, not surprised to hear this. I found the MM radial a good all arounder. It does everything pretty well and does loamier dirt in the San Juan high country really well. To me it doesn't quite have that same level of locked in when leaning feel that the TC seems to, like a DHF, but it certainly hooks up fine and doesn't seem to need as much of a committed lean as the TC does to bite fairly well in natural bermless corners. As far as I have read, both of these motor gear box units being presented by Gobao and Avinox are being billed as CVT (or infinite gearing) systems. CVTs are rather simple in application. You have two v-groove pullies connected by a belt and the pullies are split in half down lowest point (center) in the same direction of the belt. Are you torquing the Lever/hose nut? Mavens Require this and its very important or the brakes will never stay good. I've not needed to bleed mine in 10 months, 3/4 sets of pads on an ebike, just clean pistons and push them back for new pads, set gap with little spacer and go.

I've battled this on a few pairs of maven's and it simply means your bleed procedures are not working with the maven's. I am stopping short of saying that your bleed procedures are bad or incorrect... I had zero issues bleeding all types of mtb brakes for the better part of 22ish years prior to mavens. However, I had the same problem on 2 sets of mavens where they would be fine...
