A really bad pic - But a bike reviewer posted some pics of his current test mule, and he had blurred out a seatpost and a drivetrain. The seatpost was clearly the new Rockshox dropper, so I thought that the drivetrain might be something from srammers as well. He had posted a very dark pic of the same bike just a few hours earlier. Which with a little bit of editing - Looks like this Clearly a transmission-esque rear deraillieur, with a transmission casette. Front chainring looks different from any of the wireless models, and since there are two hoses/cables...

Those are Galfer rotors. I’d assume Hope or Trickstuff would do development with their own rotors.

Couldn't a cheap treadmill be used to bed brakes? Sure the size is a bit of an issue in a small shop but it'd get some better use out of them that way instead of as a clothes rack they typically become.

This is getting dangerously close to a brake forum comment, but I think the reason you wouldn't see a vacuum bleeder for brakes is that the seals are designed to seal against positive pressure, but not against significant negative pressure. I've been testing Mavens and DB8's for the last 6 months and, even though the official SRAM mineral oil bleed procedure recommends drawing a vacuum using the Pro Bleed Kit syringe, I've stopped doing that part of the bleed process because I'm able to draw basically an endless amount of air out of my lines, at the lever or at...

Ironically, for the cost of 1 electronic dropper, you could buy 3 normal droppers and wouldn't need to swap anything. Bikers will buy the most stupid sh*t and electronic droppers is at the top of that list.

Easy removal is the prime one. Easy and consistent push button activation is more of a no for me as it's either go or no go, no inbetween. Most mechanical posts allow you to feather the speed of return (at least) by not pulling on the lever to the full stop.

I can't believe we don't have an online conversion kit for reg posts using a servo that pulls the cable at the bottom of the post from anyone. Archer would have set the world on fire with that instead of half mechanical shifting.

batteries are round, seatpost is round, put round battery in round tube. Until that is achieved, I will suffer with my tiny bit of cable going from my head tube to handlebar.

When he actually retires hopefully he wants to do some DH, if anyone at RedBull is listening this would be an opportunity for some awesome content. Get Ken to come out to the Windrock national, pair him up with Aaron Gwin and have him show him how to do track walk. How the whole race day works, which lines to change and take during practice and sort of guide him through the day while filming it all and then have Ken do a zero pressure race run would be such awesome content. You'd get some crossover from both fan bases...
