7/16/2024 8:43am I'm on team long CS, and I ride mostly tighter, flatter, natural trails. The traction and confidence boost give me, as a 'fast dad' level rider, much more opportunity to push a bike hard through corners and force it through than rely on a bit less wheel base to negotiate a turn. New Ibis geometry is strange - I think we're seeing some fall out from designing one front triangle for multiple bikes. I never wanted a GG for exactly that reason, as much as I loved other aspects of those bikes.

7/13/2024 3:51pm There is still a yoke used, just much shorter. The upper link is moved in front of the seat tube like on the HD6. I’d guess 1/2-1/3rd the total length of the older models.

7/13/2024 2:33pm Apologies for tater cam. New Ripley spotted today. Reach grows. Same design as the HD6. In frame storage, mullet chip, no other adjustments seen. Claims made: The Ripmo will share the same triangles with a different shock and yoke. Build weight XT/Fox Factory/Ibis Carbon wheels/ DHR II and Dissector 28 lbs.

7/2/2024 11:25am "Welcome, We focused on amazing, fascinating ,unbelievable and bikes. Here is an old bike.......it is bad. Our new bike is everything you ever wanted with all the things that are good and no bad things. Here is a person who agrees. In short, people who want a bike will like it because we made it better. This is a person.....he is great also. The things we have improved are better things now. 'I like it a lot' Thankyou fellow humans" I need proof that wasn't Ai generated.

6/25/2024 9:34am Good, the sooner tear offs are banned all round the better. And when a company gets round to making a remote roll off system loic can have an extra button on his bar

6/3/2024 6:58pm I’d rather walk than ride a road bike. Gear boxes, or at least the benefits of them, make way more sense to me than a derailleur. The disadvantages in climbing, shifting speed, weight, etc seem negligible. Aside from the grip shift, because that is an absolute no-go. Like putting a thumb throttle on a dirt bike.

5/24/2024 6:56am Personally I don’t think full runs has made for better dh finals viewing. I’d much rather the focus be on having the best tracks. Including very long tracks where elevation and track design make it possible. Then simply film the best sections (biggest features and most technical sections where line choice and variance in speed is common plus the finish line). Personally I have found the new finals format to be more boring than the old one. Semis/lcq becomes a necessary evil. But offers a lot of points and has zero coverage. And let’s face it by race day there...

5/22/2024 4:57am Just watching the highlights. Gotta mention Amaury. Its pretty wild he's on the podium second race in from the injury he sustained. You always assume hes gunna be up there as were just used to it. But some people never recover or are never the same after stuff like that. Some boy.

5/15/2024 4:11pm I was born in Poland, but I grew up in California....spent 40 years there. Now I'm back in Poland...as luck would have it....in Bielsko-Biała. For the past 3 years I've been riding most of the trails that'll be used at the event. Prior to that, my resume includes mostly Skegg's Point and Braille in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a run down Mt. Lemmon outside of Tuscon, and some Tapia Canyon (Castaic, California). I'm old and mostly ride motorcycles with MTB stuff peppered in here and there. Nevertheless, I think I have some unique credibility here. So if you will endulge...

5/8/2024 2:25pm Good perspective from MW for sure. A testament to his time in the business. I'm confident Neko's race team can get what they need. It's for Anxo and new mechanic, Josiah, that fingers are pulling at my heart strings. Pro tools are damn near expensive and often, oddly personal. And, their salaries are typically well, not to be envied. Neko and his crew has done more for grassroots racing than anyone in the US, possible world, no hyperbole. If they feel comfortable setting up a GFM for the mechanics or other staff, I'm all im. The most common response to...

5/6/2024 7:07pm seems like electronic suspension is here to stay even in DH. i love innovation but am not a big fan when it‘s getting too far so that it isn‘t a leveled playing field anymore. since only the top factory riders are gonna have the chance of using that stuff it‘s gonna get harder for the smaller teams who don‘t have access to it. they are already at a disadvantage when i look at how many line spotters the big teams employ. before you could at least buy the same suspension as the factory guys. time will tell if my concerns...
