They have so much space behind the seat tube to install all that hardware. Looks like a fun project.

When he actually retires hopefully he wants to do some DH, if anyone at RedBull is listening this would be an opportunity for some awesome content. Get Ken to come out to the Windrock national, pair him up with Aaron Gwin and have him show him how to do track walk. How the whole race day works, which lines to change and take during practice and sort of guide him through the day while filming it all and then have Ken do a zero pressure race run would be such awesome content. You'd get some crossover from both fan bases...

We get messages at least once a month from someone in the desert Southwest who's pissed that we no longer make the Chronicle. I could never get along with plus tires. If I ran the pressures low enough to get a benefit in traction then the tire would fold and roll like crazy even in mellow corners. With enough pressure to provide cornering support, I was getting bounced all over the trail. For me, plus tires offered only downsides. I'm glad they were a relatively short lived fad in our fad obsessed industry.

Shout out big privilege, he's a good dude. Always up at mountain creek, just a normal dude that likes riding bikes (with a rap career). I love that it he brings representation for a minority in our sport.

How about something F1 did to try and level the playing field, address excessive spending, excessive waste, marketing blah, blah, blah Introduce a maximum amount of spares that can be used for a given item, for the entire year you get 2 frames, 2 forks, 2 rear shocks (set number of rebuilds in a season) , 4 wheels, 4 sets of brakes (front or rear) 2 sets of drivetrain parts, etc. A season of attrition for components and frames.....You fuck up and break too many frames, penalty points, or all teams get an additional item of their choosing..... I always thought...

If Asa didnt make the mistake and took the troy line, he wouldve smashed them - hes young with less help and he will learn alot from that experience. That just makes him even more dangerous knowing it was only .2 after all that. Asa's Riding is very Bruni like, Smooth & controlled but its freakishly fast.

I don’t see a way you can have a “Spec Racing” series and only control the frame. Tires would need to be standardized as well brakes and suspension. Drivetrain should be standard as well. Individual component tuning such as damper setup, and pad/rotor selection will be rider/team choice. Certain spec components may need to have some level of tamper protection...

Natural righty that had to learn lefty for a while after shattering a knee. Took some time to realize the stance change pulled my hips back. Felt weak and way off the back riding switch until I figured that bit out. Briefly skated mongo. Literal woodpusher. I was awful.

Believe it or not, I have one on my bike, and a chain on a few other bikes. Bending with and without load is not the same thing, and the energy used by bending a belt is fairly constant, while chains friction increases with power. There's a dedicated thread to all this now, just saying like someone else mentioned, there's a lot of confirmation bias and a huge echo chamber talking about drag, but I literally just have 2 bikes next to me, one with a belt, and one with a chain I didn't lube after riding yesterday. There's no difference worth...

Eddie Masters brings more eyes to that team than probably anything. His YouTube channel is quite popular. He’s also no slouch in enduro, was just riddled with injuries that last bit.

Smash a thumbs up on this post if you confirm all three: 1) you know what a Bassworm is, 2) you know how to install one, 3) you installed one on your own bike. I do, I do, and I did.

With respect Phil has been struggling to be a regular top 30 finisher the last few years. And like Kade and Kaos his skills may be more valuable producing content rather than racing World cups. And that sucks cos those boys really lit up the vital raw , sleeper co. and Ben cathro videos over the world cup weekends. Sad to see the gifted steezy and technical riders are being forced out of the racing side of the sport now . I wanna see some rowdy shit being done on some wild lines not just a load of Frenchies deathgripping...

Phil Atwill and the Propain Positive team appear to have parted ways with Propain. Instagram is now labeled "Positive Crew". They're either up for grabs or stepping back from UCI level racing. Hopefully somebody gives them the steam for more World Cup racing, Phil has some of the most unique bike handling skills around.
