Well, one is made by canyon and the other made by Norco. It’s not this threads or this community’s mandate to cave into your demands and outline a spreadsheet of the differences between bikes. Calling us nerds and demanding we do your homework is just high school-ish behavior.

Do you really trust the ai to put the two stack heights in proportion when it couldn't hit even one other detail correctly?

"From afar, the Team DH resembles the Range - the bike Norco used as a stepping stone to enter World Cup racing again. Norco appreciated the Range's rearward axle path, but the four-bar linkage limited how much travel was possible before the progression went above their desired levels. A high main pivot and idler wheel remain, but other than that, it's an entirely new linkage system." Range was a 4 bar, the Team DH is a 6 bar.

Pricing on that bike is pretty gnarly but I get it. People in the PB comments are big mad about it, but it will sell. They complained about demo prices and I saw dozens of them in Whistler when I went last month. Norco has been spending money on development and roster like it’s going out of fashion ever since they started with the new range. I’d be happy to pick up a torrent when they are available to support them. (Too slow to justify the team DH lol) Side note: Wasn’t norco one of the teams that announced they...

After five years of developing, testing, and racing, Norco has finally released its new downhill bike, appropriately named the Team DH. They started with their Range enduro bike, evolved on its high pivot design with some additional links, prototyped a bunch of frames in different materials, and then had its legitimacy proven by their factory team. Much of the process of creating the Team DH has happened in plain sight, so if you've been following along, what has become production may not be a huge surprise. But the fact that Norco is releasing the exact bike their factory team is...

After. It was one of the more comical experiences I’ve had with bike links. I don’t weigh a lot and I kept having to add more and more air to get sag (near max pressure and I’m only 150 lbs). So it was obvious something wasn’t right. Went to check the machining and the simulated machined part didn’t match the modeled part despite all the tool paths being up to date. Strangely the thing cleared full travel. Bounced on it a little for the fun of it… 170 mm of travel with a 45 mm shock stroke is probably one...

Attention tech nerds! I'm currently out at Sea Otter Europe, working on the coverage from today, I figured I'd drop this here for you guys - KYB is coming to MTB! The upside-down fork shown here should be available as of November. It's got a few cool features, like the ability to run it in 27 or 29 configuration by sliding the fork legs up and down in the crowns (because the crowns are bolted on)! It's a coil fork, but it also has an air pre-load system in which you can run between 6 to 9 psi of air...
