The telepathy bike has about 30mm of rearward movement at sag. It's designed with an axle path meant to mimic the fork's axle path and maintain a constant wheelbase. Haven't ridden it, so can't say if they're onto something there. I had a 1st gen Canfield Jedi. I think that thing had around 25mm rearward movement at sag. It cornered weird and jumped weird, but I eventually got used to it. I don't think the benefits outweighed the downsides though. There's no way that RMU bike has 30mm rearward travel at sag though. I think that's just some random marketing...

Raw makes for a much more even playing field. Only thought would be to have more Pro non-competitors test ride the track a few weeks in advance of race weekend to confirm safety.

What's the point of a new track if the goal is to burn it in like a well known track already... Now, gap jumps up top with nearly 90 degree corners before them and exposed to whatever wind or thick air is siting up top... That's another poll but you probly don't even need to make it.

MORE RAW! Natural. This is freaking sweet. Need more tracks like this style.

I know there’s a difference because it’s harder to control with bikes, but why is it such a big deal here when people unlock their hardware? I can drive a car faster than the speed limit, too. It’s the driver’s responsibility to follow the rules. If they don’t, there are penalties—or they lose their insurance coverage. It’s true, though, that...
Anthropic's coding tools did not exist back then, but they do now. These firmware packages will get cracked in no time from this point forward. The more challenging firmware (and hardware logic) to crack will be the bms.

Cheers for making this thread. I think it’s going to get quite old man shouts at clouds, but there we go. I come at this from a slightly different angle, I’m an elected local councillor. As a result I’ve managed to have meetings with a few of the land owners and managers at my local. It’s a complicated picture, 3 public owners, a few private and 2 main land managers who have different goals and incentives. It’s an intensively used bit of land, 2 million people live within 30km of it in a very nature deprived part of a very...

I think DJI is going to be really hard to beat long term. They have such an advantage on application and user interface development that their product is going to seem more refined. Beyond that, the access they have to cutting edge, and less regulated battery production and technology is going to make it much easier for them to push that envelope and create custom cells and bespoke battery solutions. The advantage they have with 3 phase motor design, efficiency and development goes without saying... and that is a huge advantage in this space. I also think you're bang on...

Microspine drivers are a blight against humanity and should die in a fire along with the stupid plastic spacer they require to prevent Shimano cassettes from creaking like a haunted house. The only thing that might be worse than the microspine interface and its woefully anemic, made of cheese, lock ring might be the actual cassettes themselves which in the year of our lord 2026 still are half singe piece pinned garbage that falls apart and half stamped metal plates with spacers. Seriously, 12 speed shimano stuff is the most disappointing experience I've ever had with a drivetrain. I hate...

Re: new saint. 12spd long cage saint would be super rad, especially if xt&xtr mechanical moves to dual spring instead of a clutch. But I need to get assurance if I’m retarded or not; it’s been mentioned now that this theoretical 12spd saint would retain a clutch for those who are “not concerned about efficiency.” What in the hell does a clutch have to do with drivetrain efficiency? Besides slightly affecting suspension feel, more so if your bike has a lot of chain growth, how would a clutch vs dual spring have any effect on the what the bike feels...

Real interesting review on the Die Bremses. I would just skip to the performance section of the video. Claims they've got a lighter lever pull than Dominions with more power than Mavens and Hope V4s.

I imagine it'll integrate with Flight Attendant. If so, you'll be able to define the different degrees of float based on what Flight Attendant is determining you're doing at the time. Climbing? 3º. Descending? 16º. Want something else? Tweak it in the app. That's probably more difficult to pull off than I think...but I bet they're working on it!
