8/19/2026 12:19pm I was told no new Enduro until at least 2027, I figured it was going to be a Sea Otter release given most companies wouldn’t want to release a bike in the dead of Winter in the US. Did anyone else working at a Specialized dealer get any “When’s the new Enduro coming out?” stickers? My rep claimed he made them, but I’ve never gotten a single piece of swag from that dude in 10+ years, so it made me skeptical that Specialized was drumming up a very slow marketing campaign. In other future product news from the grape vine...

8/11/2026 7:34am Or ride up/down a big step/suspension bottoming out, casing a jump… but that’s why this whole thing functions as a bash guard as well. Perfect lol

8/11/2026 4:34am Why not, instead of crank arms, make crank discs? Solid 304 stainless steel. You could put several holes in there, offset, so you can choose different “crank lengths” just by switching your pedals into different threaded holes. Adds weight, centered right around the bottom bracket. Ultimate bash guard as well! I should be an engineer. I’d succeed big time (or...

8/7/2026 4:37am I wouldn’t think there is much stress on the bearings at all. It’s only the bike weight, if you hit something with a crank mounted bash-guard. The bearings carry all your body weight, load under heavy pedaling, the pull of the chain… I’d think all these stresses are much higher on the bearings than when the bike weight hits the...

7/30/2026 6:18am I would assume that they take that in consideration. Think about Trek what you will, but it’s also not their first bike they making (ok, it’s the first 32”) but surely to goodness, they get the geometry fairly dialed, and not repeat the geometry challenges we had with the first 29ers. Time will tell.

7/12/2026 6:07pm After life happened I’m currently on a 3x9 GT avalanche. 26”. Literally pulled out of the scrap metal bin from a family member. The old shimano hydraulic disc brakes didn’t even need a bleed. Only needed the front quick release axle. First bike I have after being off bikes for over 4 years. After 25 years of riding. First of...

7/1/2026 5:59am I typically use the climb switch once per ride. I like to turn it on halfway up the climb when I remember I have it and might as well use it. I tend to turn it off halfway down the descent when I’m puzzling over why my suspension isn’t working. I suspect I am not in the minority.

5/28/2026 12:49pm Well, when you look at the what the EWS/EDR guys racing, the spectral might be “enough” when it comes to suspension travel. But take that statement with a proper grain of salt.

4/30/2026 5:54am Interesting, one of his favorite things about going to YT was a full 29er dh bike which was way faster when they timed it (according to him). Or is he only going mullet for this race? (Sorry, a bit out of the loop here).

3/17/2026 11:34am I think a lot of other players came into the market and Azonic wasn't really moving forward as things changed... Or, if they have done new stuff, do you really ever see it outside of MBA?

3/17/2026 6:24am Thank you sir! They’ve been so under the radar, I don’t even think about googling them… would be rad if they “come back out of hiding”…

3/17/2026 6:18am they have a current (2026) website, with current looking products listed. looks like they are still part of o'neal, the azonic site takes you to the oneal webstore. they definitely went quiet for more than a number of years. not sure what was going on? https://azonicusa.com/collections/cycling

3/16/2026 6:24am Not a tech rumor, but after looking at the bike of the day (love everything about it!), does anyone know what happened to Azonic? I used to drool over the stuff, loved the a-frame pedals… just out of curiosity I’d love to know what happened with that brand.

10/29/2025 7:08pm I think that Cornelius has completely outclassed Fox in the Upsidedown fork space. Options, quality, weight, price, reliability, performance, etc. Intend wins on every aspect. What the Podium did for me, is make me really interested in the Intend...
