Static and dynamic climbing rope also comes to mind. Hanging on the two ropes, loads are the same, as a freebody diagram would suggest. A 40' whiper on a dynamic rope is survivable, maybe even fun. 40' whiper on a static rope is a potentially life ending event, both for you and the rope. Something to be said for slowing down the acceleration over a bit of time.

I believe it's an updated katipo but will be under a new name. Updated geo (fairly middle of the road), mullet compatible flip chip etc.

I'm honestly little shook that the stay members are physically that long but chainstay measurement is an absolutely tucked 434mm across all sizes.

So glad I bought a new Frameworks Enduro frame instead not that I needed any more confirmation than the first ride though. If those geometry numbers are correct then that's pretty sad. Funny though if you added 20mm of stack and a 10mm rear flip chip for rear center length it would be instantly relevant. Ah well.

My condolences to everyone who bought a current gen Levo at full price. There's zero chance the prices stay that level with a $5,000 Amflow around. Cheapest alloy Levo is $6,100 and the cheapest carbon Levo is on sale for $8,000 from it's MSRP of $9,200. in scandal mag, jim bland, luca's mechanic, thinks 32" front wheels are coming (in what i would assume is DH since he's a DH mechanic). seems like it wouldn't be hard for any of the inverted brands to make a 32" fork for this upcoming season (assuming tires are available, which i bet they are). he also says cone valves in forks, so maybe some other hint development? #nonEbikeRumors
