Great build and beautiful shots. Looks like we finally have a decent priced aftermarket Transmission cage. I'll be picking up a few because the SRAM ones are made of swiss cheese.

One of the reasons I bought a Raaw. Seat tube length and dropper insertion is not great on the Banshee and was worried compared to my Firebird I had previously. After getting used to a 240mm dropper post, there is no coming back. Riding Mount7, BC and all these steep trails around, you really appreciated having the saddle out of the way.

Well just wanted to share some results on some tire durometer measurements that I have collected of some of the more popular tires in my collection. Method: All tires were measured while sitting on a flat plate of steel to provide equal and consistent backing support. Nothing was measured mounted. I measured the Maxxis brand new out of the box and again after this weekend's Boondocks race at NorthStar, no change was detectable in the results, so I just added the miles that I was at after measuring yesterday. Although I'm a sucker for all the latest rumors and innovation on the tech-front (which in between chainstay length discussion sometimes occur in this thread), as a company it just sucks whenever people decide to leak stuff willingly. There's people doing their best to create marketing & launch campaigns around new products, and most of the time go to great lengths to make sure it doesn't get public before. (Yes if you as a brand decide to go to Crankworx with an unreleased product it's up to you...) Usually there's a slew of NDA's signed, and more often than not...

Clean the calipers really, really well and make sure they are completely dry. Go ride and inspect afterwords to verify that they are not leaking anywhere. I have both heard and seen that the newer Dominions have been prone to leak which can cause issues similar to a bad bleed even when there is no air in the system. But first make sure that there is no air in the system, full bleed and work the pistons out to make sure nothing is trapped behind them. Hayes has been quite good, from what I have heard with the warranty process...

I promise you- a SuperDeluxe Ultimate costs a lot more than $79 USD/Euro to make... That was my product line for a long time- I have been to the factory and suppliers where they come from.

I hate to make funny of a crappy situataion for everyone at YT but I had to LOL at the "severely impacted by the global discounting battle in the bike industry" line - they were literally one of the first and most aggressive brands to offer high spec bikes at crazy prices. So its no surprise they are now one of the first of those to be struggling

I would venture to say 75% of arm pump occurs bc of brake lever setup, 10% how the brake is used and 25% bc the brake system itself. That's 110% true.

Posted on the other site. YT Industries GmbH has initiated a legal restructuring process under German law, entering into self-administration to secure the company's future. - "despite strong global growth and a loyal customer base", it has been "severely impacted by the global discounting battle in the bike industry, problems with suppliers and uncertainty in the US market related to tariff policies." YT Industries said it was "compelled" to enter legal restructuring proceedings under self-administration as the company has "no further funding available under the current structure."
