I've never worked on one of these And yeah having more oil on the seal doesn't help, although a failed RSU seal quickly makes a huge mess too. Ideally seals are always "leaking" a tiny bit to maintain a film on the surface, so the RSU fork should be getting at least some oil back up on the wiper. Im excited for the new Dissector. Unless things are really gnarly, I see no reason for a bigger front time on my all moutain bike. Currently running DHF/DHR2 combo and its so slow and draggy while climbing. Dissector/Recon or Dissector/Forekaster seem like the move on that bike.

This one looks just right for that use case.

Burly but decently spaced side knobs that bite into loose when leaned over and give feedback that they're engaged, while not folding over when heavily loaded on hardpack berms or off-camber. Alternating center bar knobs with a lot of ramping on leading edge but enough space between them to dig into loose. Basically a DHR II or Kryptotal Rear, but able to conform to horizontal roots a bit better. Well I sent my fork to get it warranty checked and it indeed had a loose bushing. They'll replace the bushings, CSU and do a complete service with new seals everywhere, so I guess I'll basically a new fork over again, but working much better. I've asked to remove the negative spacer while they're at it, because I'm running 90psi in the main chamber and 215 psi in the ramp-up chamber (175 lbs) and I get so beat up with small chatter. The bike park destroys your derailleurs in 3-4 trips? I get years and thousands of miles out of rear derailleurs that are usually still going strong when a crash or an errant stick takes them out. Have you heard of maintenance?
