I'm guessing that the the addition of XC to this round means we might not get the DH Q2 coverage this round. WB have been anything but consistent with their coverage , wouldn't surprise me at all if this is the case. I hope I'm wrong.

When you read past position 30 and realize there are maybe millions of dollars invested into the people not getting to race finals, I seriously think this is going to choke off sponsorship & race teams. There is virtually no reason to field a rider and/or team. I mean, the elite 3-4 man factory backed teams are getting 1, maybe 2 riders at most into finals. But you have to field a team of 10 to get points? The investment versus the exposure is god awful.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the whole promise of cutting the field down to 30 riders was to make it so they could show all 30 of those runs in their entirety. It seems like WBD moved the goalposts on that front pretty hard if I'm remembering correctly.

No Warner, no Wyn, no Lawlor. They should probably cancel it at this stage.

Yes, course tape is definitely the reason there’s so much trash in the world. Leading cause of turtle deaths. Tape solves all these issues. I can’t fathom race pace and trying to visualize markers. I can barely follow the markers on TV sometimes.

Posts all over FB/reddit/pinkbike. with even more photos of the brakes/drivetrains/hubs. I will never believe in this whole removing posts because a brand cant keep their own sh1t a secret - especially in this case when Shimano Rep's have been telling everyone.

Id rather now see well thought out bikes that didnt have QC drama... alloy bikes that are actually aligned etc than us sold on new 'geo changes' or new damper's(that are rubbish because our bikes are to light) etc suspension parts still has the most benefit, going from a tk silver to a performance is massive but the jump from a performance to a GX2 is only a small amount that most people cant even tell. going from a dpx2 to a coil is a massive difference, dpx2 is a great progressive shock(despite its very small internal shaft issues) while...

I dont weigh much more than you. I prefer to ride a few km/h more to skew the pedal/bike handling ratio toward bike handling always, as well as ride more technical steep climbs. Same workout as with my regular enduro bike but every trail is better

I think the European Union are going to 'outlaw' anything above 750 watts (not sure about Nm) in the near future, which to me is fine. We are also stuck with a 25kph (15.5 mph) cut off with assistance. I think, for where I live (UK) that upper limit of 750 watts, and 20 mph cut off would be the sweet spot. Thats for emtb and e-roadie/commuters. I think if that was applied across the globe, manufacturers could then divert their efforts to bringing down weights of batteries and motors and improving the range/endurance of the machines.

Ryan really has taken a smack to the race from Ed's latest video. I assume his chinbar must have broken? As a user of a leatt helmet I kind of would like to know. WIshing him & Bernie a swift recovery.

+2 for me, big big agree. But I’m still waiting for those sweet, sweet slideshows to make a return. Or maybe I just need a Spotify link to that low-tempo, bass-forward track that accompanied the slideshows, so I can cue it up and scroll… Spomer can you make that happen and bring back the old timey feels?

The Main DH bikes Weve seen in the media breaking have been marketed as light DH bikes, such as the gambler (team changed to the alloy one for a bit) and pivot - both carbon, i dont think its a carbon itself issue but more of a design and choice of layup thickness etc personally my DH weighs upwards of 19kg with 500g weight under the BB. the things a rocket ship. as BK said, DH tracks are much faster these days and many of the Trek riders said not to make a carbon version of the HP session(this was...

Youve ridden an ebike for 2 yrs and still dont know that no matter how many watts and nm's there are the cut off is still 20mph/32kph on any class 1 emtb? That being said i suspect we've reached the limit. The extra nm and watts will enable you to climb a bit faster or climb more technical trail but i think we're at the end of the traction/power ratio. What the exact number is i'll reserve judgement until i try it. Im still on a 70nm e8000 and having fun and that allows me to see that an 85nm/600w...
