at least flo is showing entire elite field w/ raw audio right now. rory kirk's rear tire wasn't about to go through another scrub, so it left the bike mid run. gutted, wanted to see the race day move!

i've just given up on live streams of MTB racing which is... ultimately the issue out of all the other things i watch, MTBing is hands down the worst. 2 relatively expensive and relatively inconsistent platforms for a sport that doesnt have all that much run time annually. its 2026. stream it through youtube as a paid members only broadcast. we really did find as many ways possible to create a system worse than cable... and to think this all used to be free to watch for all

It’s the feed that the UCI supplies to the telecasters.

Sam on a Commencal just doesn't sit right with me for some reason, someone should have dusted off a sunday from a shed in the alps and given it to him for that video.

I just want to hear someone on camera pronounce Les Gets normally instead of French style. Always hear the French announcers butcher everything not French , let’s hear someone say less gets

Details forthcoming but looks like the Ride Companion crew are going to do a watch along with Rob Warner.

Name calling, I bet you make silly faces as well when someone says something you don't agree with

Juniors had fastest times of the day at certain races last year. At a brief glance on rootsand rain, throughout the years the fastest women's Time of the day would not have beaten the slowest men's time. I'll just get back to my day an hour earlier without having to listen to Ric tell us what a historic day it is when Vali Holl is the last person down the hill in her home country. This was Monsters idea, just to rub it in Red Bulls face in Austria. And it's lapped up by all those divorced daddies on this...

Watching the first women take to the track after watching riders like Asa and Jackso is going to be immensely underwhelming many will just turn off the broadcast It's just a token virtue signal by the organisers

surely this is the undisputed post of the year

Speaking of Luca...someone tell him Congats. Could not be happier for him! Has me blocked on IG. Whatever it was, I'm sure deserve it.

wyntv rapid reactions - 31:57 - good interview with loic. he says he had the Astars airbag setup on and he thinks it saved him. "i'll never race without it."

@sspomer Are you coming to WindRock? I may drive over & heckle. Someone get me a bullhorn. My voice carries, so I don't need one. But still...for clarity.

Ummm...we just gonna ignore that @owl-x threatened @bulletbass man with a "menzie simulator by mail" threat with the sole goal of making him more appreciate of the struggle of female downhillers? 🤣 I mean...y'all get on me for my random unintelligible posts but we're gonna just walk right past that kook show?

I’m sure femenists everywhere are looking forward to wbd’s doc on mtbing on your period. I’m sure it will be pretty tasteful tbh. I also think both redbull in the past and eso currently has done a good job promoting the ladies as athletes. But I think extra prize money or a prize from a sponsor for the winner, or 30 women in finals would be a much better way to celebrate these athletes than changing the time of the race and self promotion.

Same. Big Dak guy, not American.
