Showing up to a federal land agency meeting with heat maps printed discussing decommission was an eye opening experience. It’s a great tool for them to identify and remove any trail that was a significant amount of time to build. Your 2 minutes of enjoyment likely was 100 hours of work or more. And it just put a bullseye on the trail when you published your ride. You can remove sharing heat maps on your settings, not make rides public and hide your maps. Or just not strava those trails.

Your experience makes sense. 4 years ago, for the first time, I rented an ebike at Kanuga. Aside from having a wicked-good-time, I couldn't noticing that there were these small groups of riders: maybe an 8 yr. old kid, a teenager, and an older man or woman, all riding together. They were families, actually all riding together, UPHILL. I checked memory, and realized how seldom I'd seen this in my 40 years of biking. Ebikes are a great tool for families to enjoy mountain biking together. Full stop. If Ebike manufacturers haven't taken advantage of this marketing opportunity, well, here's...

Sadly I agree. I think just that Neko likes him, and sees potential, but fading to me. I cannot see a way forward for Pivot and therefore BK. I mean how can Pivot look at 25 and write a check for 26?
