To be clear... I fully agree the huge gap jumps are very dangerous, sketchy, etc. That is what is scaring the riders. Not the difficulty of the course or even all but maybe that one drop. Bernard said as much in his video the other day--implying the course was easy except for the huge gaps. "It's easier than last year, It's a race course with huge jumps on it". I have no issues with riders spending time getting towed into the huge dangerous gaps, etc. What I'm saying is that the rest of the course becomes 'easy' for the worlds...

I know he's an icon of the sport, but he has only been in one WC final since 2023, and that was at the first race in 2023. He's barely made it into the top 50 in semis most races. He's an icon, but sports progress.

Orbea taking a step back from headset cable routing is a bigger deal to me than their DH bike! I was one click from ordering a Wild, but after seeing the heaset in the flesh and reading the horrendous reports on forums I just couldn't do it. They quite litterally have the worst headset routing implementation (knockblock that breaks and knocks your spacers out, dedicated spacers + dedicated stem, need to disconnect your brake hose to get rid of all that stuff and mount an adaptor for a regular stem, horrendous looking cable angles to get into the headset no...

IIRC, BK didn't stop filming race runs to protest, ESO no longer allowed riders to film their race runs. BK did complain about it, rightfully so.

Jenna won as many races as Jake Jewett last year. ...and she won the Women's Elite New Zealand Continental Series race this last weekend beating Sascha Earnest who by many accounts is a podium threat for this upcoming women's World Cup season. It's fun to pretend she's only around because her and BK are together, but I think a tough couple seasons for injuries made us forget that she's actually pretty fast and was a Junior World Champ.

Totally, the Enduro side of the team is pretty successful . Morganne is a race winner , Matt walker is a race winner and consistently top 10 and Eddie has had some bad luck with injury's but is certainly capable of good results if he can stay fit . If Pivot are still supporting the Enduro side then given the amount of teams that are pulling out then that's a good thing .

Eddie Masters brings more eyes to that team than probably anything. His YouTube channel is quite popular. He’s also no slouch in enduro, was just riddled with injuries that last bit.

Alleged, not charged and no conviction Roque Racing, small team and I assume a small budget. Maybe his “baggage” priced him into a smaller lesser known team. Antonio Brown of the NFL was convicted of assault charges on his wife and the NFL still let the guy play. Not alleged, convicted. Give TD a chance until he’s charged and convicted. Ari's bikes are looking surpringly good lately.

Danny does seem to have some pretty decent self-awareness. He used to have an adversarial relationship with Wyn, but he flipped the script and now I love their interactions.

It's actually quite amazing how far ahead the Levo was when it was released. In my eyes, its still competitive with the Amflow. Amflow's are not quite as light as some of the early reports. Sam's with a 38, a coil & gravity Schwalbes weighs 50#s in a size Large. That's still 5#s more than my XL Relay, also with dual coil suspension, 1 gravity tire & pedals and tools on board. I'm still looking for the free lunch but have yet to find it. My plan is to buy the E-Druid, but I think it'll weigh 48#s once all...
