I ride my 29er spire at the park as well. I really wouldn’t worry about any otb difference. That said if you can afford a newer bike (especially long term) there ain’t too much of a reason to not get a v10. The current session or demo may be an easier find used as they are popular rental bikes.

Rumor here is that WB wanted $750000 for MSA to host in 2026 and previously the cost to host was significantly lower.

While none of are likely to buy the $20k bike, it's got us all talking about it... Mission accomplished...

I will never forget the poor 20 year old lifty at Panorama trying to explain why the 80lb folding fat E-bikes with a 12 stack of black and chrome spacers could not go on the lift while the couple who owned them screamed at them until he allowed them to try. I later saw them riding up the hill with no helmets at what must have been 45km an hour at full throttle.

Cool, but based on comments from Oisin and Andi Kolb it sounds like they are not even getting paid right now. If YT comes back maybe they'll sell to people who don't know, but they have lost so much goodwill. This isn't the first time they have dumped their riders/team. And we're just seeing the situation for the most public employees of the brand, lots of other staff are affected.

Just rumors but... the word around Bentonville is that YT has investors lined up to set things straight and something should go public in October. My concern is that the amount of damage done to the brand image and consumer trust in the time between now and October will give the investors cold feet.

Firstly I'll say again I've got no real opinion, nor am I too bothered either way, just putting forward something as a possibility. I subscribe to the theory that the mind is like a parachute, it only really works when it's open. AFAIK Emelie Siegenthaler has been involved with the team throughout this saga. She missed out on a WC podium to Kate Weatherley some years ago and predictably the other site's comments exploded. She was very quick to call out people overstepping the mark. She defended Kate's right to race and acknowledged her result. I've never met her, but...

Cool that sram are making a big effort for their athletes but personally I think all the 50/50 colour schemes look terrible. Wasn’t working for Pivot last year, isn’t working for the syndicate or norco this year. Frameworks knocked it out the park with the American chopper video 😂

The 20k bike is brilliant- if they sell at full pop you make a huge margin. If they don’t sell and you mark them 50% off you still make decent margins. Also- we’re all talking about it.
