The last thing I want is to put a $600 derailleur on my bike. Upgrades to shifting? It’s a drivetrain…I click the shifter and the chain changes gear. What is there to upgrade?

I think the small/sleek looks of the Avinox motor and battery are way overlooked by us in forums and the media because of the power numbers. There’s some seriously good looking Avinox bikes out there and sitting them next to Spesh and Bosch bikes makes those bikes just look old. Full power but looks like a light eeb/analog bike is where Spesh needs to go in order to be able to charge their astronomical prices again.

How is GoPro not related when I'm watching winning world cup race runs week in and week out on the GoPro Bike YouTube Channel? (Daks helmet sponsor too) On YouTube GoPro Bike has 91k subs vs GoPro Snow at 152k. I honestly thought the gulf of bike to snow would be much larger. Seems like bikes are a huge segment of the market for GoPro (and it's slowly slipping to Insta360 and DJI) I bet a fair amount of people in here have owned a GoPro and basically only used it on their bike. Highly relevant.

The riders are NOT earning more due to the WB deal. Overall they are getting the much the same, while as the teams have to fork out more to even be present there will be less riders getting paid moving forward. The UCI is getting paid vastly more, but that increase is NOT translating into more money from the UCI into mountain biking. It's a con job by a bloated corpulent and corrupt organization frankly.

Man I hope that the new enduro sells super well, I couldn't care less about specialized but if a non ebike in that travel range sells well it should wake the industry up that there is actually demand for those bikes.

Is WR1 still made in Canada? I recently got a new rim that replaces "made in Canada" with "North American made". Stoked on the actual rim and warranty,but I'd hate to see it move production down to the reich

Not to be that guy that responds twice, but I often wondered if and how attention spans and social media played into the demise of the enduro format as well. I remember a decade ago long form photography essays and longer recap videos were the norm and celebrated, I think people's ability to appreciate that kind of content has significantly waned. Obviously that's far from the whole story but I wonder about how it played into it.

Sad it’s finally dead, stoked for the future. I don’t think enduro as a format is dead, but it needs to go back to people having adventures in cool places.

The Downtime Les Gets pre-race podcast had a bit of discussion about teams wanting to sign up and coming juniors, leaving riders towards/at the end of their career with few options.
