7/17/2025 5:00pm Sorry but have to respond to this. Who would spend thousands of dollars on a bike from a company in self-administration? You are taking a massive gamble on warranty and even spare parts. As far as I am concerned, they are no longer a viable bike brand.

7/17/2025 2:02am I find it very ironical and super hypocritical for somebody like the YT main guy to whine about ”discount wars”, when they basically were the ones who brought this aggressive pricing strategy to the market. Dude, are you for real??? I honestly hope everybody will be OK after this, but I can't remember all the direct-to-consumer brands being too sympathetic towards the bike shops who, at the end of the day, stay at the core of our sport. And the problem is that people really believe that they are entitled to that discounted ”high end bike” with top parts, even...

7/17/2025 1:55am It seems like the chaotic variable pricing from many bike industry companies is not really helping the industry and only causes confusion and often resentment from customers. Dumping massive overstock or a big end of the year sale is one thing, but pricing that jumps around month to month is not the same. For example, when PUSH released the 9.1 it was $2600. Earlier this year it was "on sale" for 2-3 months at $2000, currently the price is $2250. If a customer had bought one for $2600, only to see it for $2000 a week later, I imagine they...

7/11/2025 12:42pm The DH team itself is running frame protection on those spots now(rubber bumpers) - tells you everything. Giant is such a tight ass with their warranty... every single time it was a ballache they always have said no by default... almost like an automatic response and we have to push on everything.

7/6/2025 6:01pm Oh…did anyone else see the guy pissing on the Start Hut at the gate during Q2? Dead center of frame. 43:55 is the time stamp as Baptiste Pierron is in the gate. https://youtu.be/guJnr4OzvKU?si=7g7LU9q5PpTWV1q7

7/6/2025 6:01pm I’m a full-blown conspiracy theorist on this one. There were no perceivable problems beyond the usual glitches and missed camera-changes. Maybe an issue with a single drone? Hardly enough reason to postpone a race when so many have gone on under much worse weather conditions. Vague “major technical issues” that just so happen to coincide with the passing of the worst of the rain, lining up Jackson’s run happening under clear skies with the rainfall absorbed into the track? I’m skeptical. Can lightweight FPV drones fly in the rain? Is this an excuse that passes the straight-face test that allows...

7/6/2025 8:36am In regards to the Junior stream, I’ll give discovery this: Keeping Josh Carlson out of the commentary booth makes the broadcast significantly better. Now do it for Elites Fuck a goolie.

7/3/2025 2:14pm I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but I'm not sure a dh race is the place to bring your dog. I've had enough issues with trail dogs (I feel pretty strongly that most dogs shouldn't come along for the ride and aren't as great on the trail as their owners say they are) and not sure massive crowds full of yelling, screaming people is the place to bring your dog.

7/1/2025 4:45pm I love trails, building them and riding them. I searched for a generic trail thread on here and didn't really find one, if I'm wrong and one exists feel free to delete this. I envision this as a thread to discuss general trail maintenance, routing discussions, land manager relationships, rogue trails, and all other things trail building. Post what you're working on if you're willing. I'll hopefully grab some pics soon of a jumpy little xc line I've been working on that I'm excited about.

6/27/2025 6:55pm My thoughts when building up my last bike were exactly the subject of this thread. After a few seasons of constantly breaking parts (frames, wheels, drivetrains mainly) I have settled on what I believe is the most reliable enduro and bike park rig. This is entirely my opinion but last season has shown that it stands up to the abuse, especially when compared to my mates' rigs ridden at the same level on the same trails. Frame: Transition Spire Alloy Suspension: Fox Factory 38, Rockshox SDLX Ultimate w/megneg Wheels: WeAreOne Union front, Strife rear Brakes: TRP DHR Evo; sintered pads...
