I'm wondering what's gone wrong for Danny Hart this year. This is the 4th time in 7 races he's failed to qualify for the finals. For a Danny Hart fan like me, this is making me sad.

Junior's might have pushed a little more expecting this to be their finals if they are canceled tomorrow???

Not to mention Jack Moir, whose popularity seems to be almost single-handedly keeping EDR alive and who can still win races. I think silly season might have just got a lot sillier.

I think it’s almost safe to say that the YT mob in its current form is not going to exist next year. Ric hinting at a turbulent team situation multiple times in today’s broadcast. Vali, Andi and Oisin all very popular riders - male riders maybe not constant podium contenders but very popular with social media and fans, which might be just as valuable. Exciting to see where they end up.

Stoked for the Whistler race. It's been a long time coming. The track is amazing. With a bit (actually quite a bit) more excavating of access roads and adjusting of the rescue plans, I'm sure they could do the race without the heli. The access roads this year were already better than last year. I've spent a lot of time in that forest, and currently, it would be quite the epic to carry out an injured rider from the middle of the course. Also, the B Zone is mostly non existant. That's two large, but manageble projects that will also...

That's good news at least, MSA is definitely one of the best venues even if it has been raced for 30 years. Whistler will be great but Canada deserves more rounds than 1. Also may as well pin this thread and unpin 2025 so there's less confusion about which one is the active one.

problem with this is no team vehicle can make it from Whistler to Lake Placid in that time period. ESPECIALLY if DOT regulated.... which the SRAM rigs for example are.

Whistler will be interesting. I wouldn't want to be going to that race on the sea to sky when every mountain bike bro in the area is trying to get parking and a spot to watch. Someone trying to ghost ride a Lambo for tictok will likely shut it all down at 8am. And It'll be booked up from whistler to east van for rooms. I wonder if they'd be running 1199 or another course. 1199 seems out of frame for what the UCI is trying to run at other hills but I hope I'm wrong.

Maybe these bike companies are looking for an outside sponsor from Huggies or pampers.

I’d argue that might’ve worked effectively the first dozen times the bike industry did it, but not anymore. Unless what you’re hiding is truly unique, it actually does the opposite. People either see through it as a gimmick immediately, or are disappointed when the cover comes off and what is underneath is generic copied homework thus having the opposite effect just when the bike is actually about to go on sale.

Just ride it. Save every penny that was earmarked for an upgrade, and use it get a new bike when you have 1500 to 2500 USD. Then don't upgrade that bike either, and save until 5-6000. BTDT, all of us.

We don't need more rules to confuse new viewers. Every single rider is given the exact same opportunity right now to make it into finals. It's fair without adding protection back in.

They stopped making it last year actually. They put a longer travel Sight in its place. I have that Range and it’s just phenomenal. I’ve contemplated getting a Sight to replace it. Shed some weight and get some more playfulness. Not worth it to sell in this market, and it’s just too damn good… Probably going to put a dual crown on it since I’m not sure their downhill bike is ever going to materialize.
