4/11/2025 10:24am Possibly related, in the recent MBR video about the new Levo, there is this foam model next to the one of the designer's desks: In the (possibly relevant) rendering above the models, it looks to be a bike with a single crown:

4/11/2025 5:15am Man that forbidden Eeb looks good, ticks all my boxes. A frame option would be sick if possible. Also lol'd at this, tip of the hat from Forbidden to us goobers. "Darwin once stated, “The crab is the highest form of evolution.” Alright, we made that up, but there’s no doubt you’ll recognize that we’ve gone to a new suspension layout on the Druid E." That chainstay length is banana's though, my Range VLT has a 462mm rear end and it only gets shorter through the travel, for me even with huge stack it's a touch long. 470mm on the...

4/11/2025 5:13am Msrp of fox suspension in europe is about the same price as the intend essential fork right now so, its close already. Often easy to find deals on fox though. But if they are selling the production version like the one in the pictures, with cnc'd parts, its probably close to the regular intend stuff

4/10/2025 10:38am Saw a post on his IG where he said he's been off the bike for 8 weeks. My guess is concussion at hardline. But, still great to see him back.

4/10/2025 10:36am New rubber from Conti: https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/continental-launches-three-… Very curious to see what the gravel nerds think about the Dubnital, which replaces the Race King (for context: The Black Chili Race King 2.2" is the current darling of the gravel world because of it's low rolling resistance and durability)

4/10/2025 6:35am Neko and Asa were talking about it on the downtime podcast. Looks like there is coming a new Fox Rampage Pro helmet this year. I think this is it on Anna Newkirk. Looks similar to the new Moto V3 RS helmet, kind of like the currect Rampage Pro looked very similar to the old Moto V3 RS helmet.

4/9/2025 1:00pm Hey everyone, I figured it was time to share a project that’s been quietly evolving over the last 10 months. I’m Laurent – a mechanical engineer and lifelong bike nerd. Together with my friend and coworker Axel, we’ve been designing and building our own custom enduro frame from scratch. This started as a passion project. We wanted to build the kind of bike we couldn’t quite find on the market. we’re just two guys who love riding bikes and wanted to make something that is durable, quiet, easy to live with, and above all, fun to ride. Somewhere along the...

4/9/2025 12:42pm This 100% A few years ago (2017 or 18) when Sunday River in Maine was still a bike park in the summer I had to explain to a lady and her kids that she wasn’t on a hiking trail, but rather a dh tech trail that’s exclusively for bikes, and had to give the lesson on what the trail signs mean. Near the top of the mountain. That they used the ski lift to get to the top of. You just can’t fix stupid.

4/9/2025 8:29am +1 on the horse issue. They’re literally the single most destructive/disruptive user group I can think of (post holing and eroding everything they touch, shitting everywhere, easily scared, etc.) but they get minimal flack as far as I know because the user group is mainly rich old heads that have more influence over public land use in most places. I also think a lot of these issues would be alleviated if local govt/land managers would allow/invest in more mtb specific trails and infrastructure. You look at areas like Bentonville Arkansas, Knoxville, TN and lots of other southern/southeastern cities where mtb...
