5/22/2025 1:34pm Also the best implementation of a Neo Shock to date. Build a bike with great descending characteristics and use the shock to sort out the climbing.

5/22/2025 6:55am New propain tyee just launched about an hour ago. Interesting to see both Ochain and Trickstuff brakes come as oem. Its this the first bike to come with Trickstuff from factory? I know there was a scott scale in limited numbers if that counts, otherwise I cant think of one. https://www.propain-bikes.com/en/product/bikes/enduro/tyee-cf/

5/22/2025 5:04am Did the old brightness trick on the EXT pic from their instagram. Cant tell much from the pic, but there are some differences compared to the V4. Cant spot it from this angle, but if its a cheaper version as someone earlier commented, we can suspect that it doesnt come with an HBO, or at least not an adjustable one as the V4. Adjustors/lockout look similar otherwise. Possibly a normal/heavy spring instead of their lighter springs. And it looks to be a "regular" chrome(?) shaft, instead of the V4's DLC coated shaft. Might be some other differences, but it will...

5/22/2025 5:04am I burnish bushings in my struts so I'm interested in this topic, but we're really getting in the weeds here. Let's continue this discussion here: vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/fork-friction-burnishing-chassis-alignment-etc

5/22/2025 5:01am I'm not sure what you are screenshotting (Q1, Q2, finals, elite or junior), but the pole locations weren't staying consistent. Nico brought this up on the Downtime podcast. Here's from Amaury's Q1... only 2 polls where your sceenshot shows 3. And again, other jumps on the track where the rider can go on either side of a middle pole. Very confusing. A simple fix would be a different color pole when the rider can go on either side.

5/21/2025 12:35pm I don’t think you get it Dave. We are going to revolutionize fork manufacturing on this forum without ever having visited a factory or even talking to a designer or engineer about the myriad of factors that affect the design and manufacture of said forks.

5/21/2025 10:01am I would be surprised if your typical Taiwanese worker doesn't fully assemble the fork in the same time as it takes to manually burnish the bushings.

5/21/2025 10:00am I can’t really speak for Europe specifically but visas have certainly effected plenty of riders trying to compete in the states. And with the abnormally inconsistent policies out of our state and security departments I would expect that to be more of an issue the upcoming seasons for both people trying to compete here and Americans trying to compete abroad in return. And the bike industry doesn’t have the grease or weight to pull much on those levers of government. But in general many European countries are pretty flexible about spending short periods of time conducting business weather it’s agriculture...

5/21/2025 4:49am I have used pretty much this setup to both minimize chances of the first tape being lifted of the rim when doing tire change and also to make it more durable/ less prone to rolling tire of the rim. And to be honest, it does that to such an extent, that once I wanted to remove the tire, there was just no way in hell it's coming of, three other people tried to peel the sidewall by standing on deflated tire on the ground, it just didnt budge. In the end 1 managed to peel it off using massive pliers...
