Two concerns:
1) The motor system very well might have doubled in price due to the tariffs. On future orders anyways.
2) It seems so weird to have a bike like this without chain ring protection. I wonder if there is a simple solution that I'm not aware of?
I'd just run the @CascadeComponents chainguard for forbidden bikes on it. I have one on my Dread v2 and use it instead of a lower roller. It's awesome (also allows me to take out a couple links in the chain)
For the people at Forbidden who read this blog. I love you guys. Your bikes are awesome and I can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!

Msrp of fox suspension in europe is about the same price as the intend essential fork right now so, its close already. Often easy to find deals on fox though. But if they are selling the production version like the one in the pictures, with cnc'd parts, its probably close to the regular intend stuff

It's not even like proportional centres are hard. You only need to move the BB forwards or backwards on the front triangle. No need to make different rear ends. Companies are just banging out bikes that ride completely different depending on the size you buy, cause the ratios are all off.
Man that forbidden Eeb looks good, ticks all my boxes. A frame option would be sick if possible.

That chainstay length is banana's though, my Range VLT has a 462mm rear end and it only gets shorter through the travel, for me even with huge stack it's a touch long. 470mm on the S4 (what I would ride) and growing is LONG.

Since it's a USD fork, you can get more travel in the same/similar axle-to-crown and not blow-up the geo numbers. I would think Fox would keep it the same as the normal 38 +10 travel (or whatever it would work out to be).

Theres long Rear centre but with the chainstay arm being short(such as the druid E) Theres long rear centre with long chainstays
and then theres shorter rear centre with long or short physical chainstay arms.
Short chainstays with short rear centres are the problem, we need to make the chainstay longer while controlling rear centre. You can have a bit of the benefit of a longer rear centre and a bit of short benefit by making the physical chainstay arm long. Ie getting it infront of the BB with the bb pushed back into the arm.
Bikes like the enduro are such a good standard because they have long physical chainstays, the enduro rides like its rear centre is much longer because of it.
I've spent so much time messing with long and short bikes both in reach and stays/rear centre etc Once i figured out why the enduro felt the way it did I understood why the One-sixty felt the same way.
We need to seperate rear centre and chainstay lengths. as they are different on full suspension bikes and make alot of change to how a bike rides
EDIT: in suspension geo terms, For offroad, 'long links' or 'long arms' seem to perform better.
